In a perfect void, something exploded. A ring of entities expanded outwards before stopping themselves, the products of this something from nothing.

The Eight Aspects had been born.

Each saw first their rival, staring at them from across the ring. Their other siblings they noticed afterwards, arrayed to each side of them in a circle. Their third revelation was their power of creation- their ability to shape their surroundings in line with their affinities.

Their fourth revelation remains to be seen.

For the most part, standard RTD rules applied a god game featuring limited roles. Want to make a planet? Going to have to get creative with that if you're the Aspect of Air... but then, that smug Earth Aspect's going to need your help if he wants anything to be able to breathe anything but dust on his world, isn't he?

Roll	Description
6	Overshot. You overdid it; expect side effects.
5	Flawless Success. You did it perfectly; expect fringe benefits.
4	Success. You did more or less what you wanted to do, within the limits of your abilities.
3	Partial Success. You kind of more or less did what you sort of wanted to from a certain perspective.
2	Failure. Your results have only the barest relation to what you were trying for.
1	Critical Failure. You probably made things worse, did the opposite of what you wanted to, or otherwise royally screwed up.

Aspects
There are eight Aspects, predictably opposed by each other. The Aspects are:

Order
Chaos
Life
Death
Air
Earth
Fire
Water

Aspects are innately tied to their affinity, and cannot generally perform actions completely outside of it. Their personality and goals are generally tied to their affinity as well, but not so strongly; Aspects are individuals as well as incarnations.

To perform actions that do not in any way involve their sphere, Aspects must generally get a more suitable Aspect to perform or cooperate on the activity with them. Cooperative actions also gain a +1 bonus for every Aspect past the first contributing to them.


Name
As you and your siblings are the only ones currently in existence, it is likely that you will be called whatever you claim to be called.

Aspect
Which Aspect you are. Your Aspect decided your powers and should influence your other decisions, but should not be taken as a caricature you must play. There are many ways an Aspect of Fire or Death might look and behave. Similarly, "opposed" Aspects needn't necessarily be antagonistic towards each other.

Appearance
You are the same size as your siblings, and your form is fairly static. This might or might not come up at some point. Animalistic or fantastic avatars are preferred but not required.

Personality
This may change somewhat over time, and again, remember that it should not be unduly limited by your Aspect. Obviously a cheerful Death Aspect requires some explanation, but that doesn't make it invalid.

Goals
This is simply a general statement of initial intent. It's fine if it's discarded immediately; it just helps in fleshing out what exactly it is you're like or think you want.


Unforeseen events may occur under certain circumstances, especially once additional sapient entities come into existence. Good luck!

Signups are open for a sole slot left behind by our Order Aspect. However, new applications are not for the position of an Aspect, but that of an Archdemon. Archdemons function similarly to Aspects, save for two key differences. One, Demonic spheres are freeform; that is, not limited to the Eight.

Secondly, Archdemons are greedy, materialistic creatures. If left too long without minions to serve them, gifts to feast upon, lands to lord over, and so on and so forth, they tend to find their power waning. Conversely, sufficiently well-supplied Archdemons can find their powers surging beyond that of Aspects. Of course, everything is relative, so Archdemons also tend to have to keep moving to avoid being crippled by stagnation.

Additional slots for additional things may open up later, but this will depend in large part on the actions of the current Aspects.

Name: Firalk Nivorik.

Aspect: Life.

Appearance: A small white wolf. The legs shade to gray and the paws are jet black, there are streaks of light green spread along it's back and sides, the tail is tipped with an electric blue. The eyes are of a vivid orange, the ears are tipped with a light brown. It is male.

Personality: Hyper would be putting it lightly. He is extremely playful and finds nearly everything fascinating, expecially his rival, maybe they would be willing to play? Can't have life without death you know, stagnation is a horrible thing. Things need to happen, the more new stuff there is, the better.

Goals: Fun, befriending Death, making and seeing new things made by others.

Name: Rassura
Aspect: Chaos
Appearance: A black shark, almost like a living shadow, with three small, purple eyes on either side of it's head and a maw filled with needle-like teeth.
Personality: Rassura is, generally, a cynical being with an extreme level of curiosity - which will often to her messing things up unintentionally when she decides to poke at them. Despite being what could be described as "clumsy", she'll listen to the others and leave things alone if they tell her to... At least for a time. Her "voice", perhaps a bit ironically for a being of chaos, is almost always monotone.
Goals: The first and most important goal is, of course, to make things fun! Everything always going the same way every time with no chance of failure is boring! Her secondary goal, as odd as it sounds, is to maintain a balance between everything. If someone is getting too strong, a nice, unpredictable disaster should even the odds and keep things fair!

Name: Mort
Aspect: Death
Appearance: A huge, jet black spider. His eight eyes glow crimson red, and he has a crimson hourglass shaped marking on his abdomen. His webs are made of a brilliant, silvery strings that shimmer slightly.
Personality: Death is somewhat cold, but not without compassion. He takes no joy in the ending of life, but it is his duty to see that everything comes to an end. As a result of this, it is not unheard of that he makes small exceptions. He isn't averse to working with other gods, provided that they realise that whatever they create, he will one day have to end. None can escape the web of fate, after all.
Goals: To uphold the balance, make sure that everything comes to an end.

Name: Enkisar
Aspect: Earth
Appearance: A large metallic dragon, that is wingless and has two heads. One head is lazy, and slow. The other is vibrant and fierce.
Personality: Enkisar is stubborn. He's hard to convince, and doesn't generally go out of his way to help the others. However, if you can coax or coerce him into doing something, he will give 110 percent. His help, when given, will always be incredibly useful. The easiest way to get Enkisar's help is to have your request align with what he wants to do. When he's not helping or being asked for help, he creates small, intricate things.
Goals: Creating random things, being stubborn yet helpful.

Name: Nohpalli
Aspect: Fire
Appearance: A tall, vaguely humanoid figure made of obsidian, with all sorts of crude faces and patterns appearing in the stone.
Personality: Greedy and gluttonous to the core, and sometime even violent, but surprisingly easy to get along with when working towards a common goal.
Goals: Find someone to leech off of work with. Can't create too good of a world out of fire, after all.

Name: Vanhurk Dorein
Aspect: Order
Appearance: A large Polar Bear with silver fur and glowing eyes of a dark blue color. There are tribal markings all over the fur. He is male.
Personality: Very Serious, calm, and noble. Conflict isn't considered a good solution to problems in his mind. If there is conflict he will attempt to stop it peacefully, only using violence if necessary. Will attempt to keep everything peaceful, after all a world full of rampaging beasts isn't a great thing.
Goals: Keep the balance. Be the best damn peacekeeper I can be.

Name: Quinghai
Aspect: Water
Appearance: A golden carp-lizard hybrid.
Personality: Hands-off. Likes order over disorder. Benevolent more than malevolent, and usually easy-going, but has a bit of a temper and does not half-ass vengeance.
Goals: At the moment? Not much. Create an ocean, watch the world turn, ideally avoid making enemies. He'll probably think of something to do if it interests him.

Name: Aquilos
Aspect: Air
Appearance: A large feathered serpent, with six large wings jutting from his back. The upper pair looks avian, covered in pale blue feathers. The middle pair are insectoid in shape, refracting light so they appear as a different color with each flap. The bottom pair are bat-like, with thin light gray membranes stretched between elongated, finger-like bones. The membrane over the bones is a darker gray, like a storm cloud. His irises are pale blue, and his pupils are shaped like lightning bolts. His body feathers are almost transparent, and seem to change color as he moves.
Personality: Aquilos has trouble focusing on things for long periods of time, and his attention can shift at the drop of a hat. His temperament is no better, shifting suddenly and violently seemingly at the slightest provocation, although he isn't so temperamental on a good day and can actually be very calm. He tends to act without thinking of the consequences, and seems to forget the aftermath of his actions as soon a something new catches his interest.
Goals: To create many things to interest him. This empty universe is a bit boring, although he may leave a few projects unfinished is something else catches his attention.
