Get ovver here!; A GM's straw poll / Signup Thread
« on: May 15, 2014, 05:24:00 am »

I'd like to run a game on bay12 but I can't decide which idea to pick. So I'll let Urist decide. Just tell me your preference, from favorite to least.

Option 1:
Getting Along with Armok (4 to 7 players starting at level 1)
Using Runequest
Just before the coronation of Urist TinRiver, King of the Mountain Home, a group of adolescent heirs to the various guests of the king are separated from their entourage. FUN occurs.
warning: This campaign may involve crack,  unnecessary GM involvement, unpredictable character death, bizarre plots, and unrealistically quick leveling speeds. Beginners very welcome.
House Rules:
"Don't Spilt the Party"
"Slaves to Amusement"

Option 2
"This game is just a tribute" (2 to 6 players starting at level 1 or 2)
Using D&D3.5e
After a drunken founding day celebration, a group of friends in the capital of the empire wake up after having the same dream. Something about a Tenacious D.
A semi-serious mid fantasy campaign of musical conquest. Very open ended. The catch? You're all Bards.
House Rules:
"Fame Rocks"
"Playing to the Crowd"

Option 3: A choose your own adventure style story. No complicated stats or combat, just choices and one D20. I haven't decided on the prompt yet.

Option 4: Go home Serious_Senator, you're drunk!

Option 3 sounds like the best path to go

I might just combine the plot of that one with number 1 then.
