STRANDED!

Log 1.0 ... I guess
Galaxy Time: Don't care
Planetary Hour: Hell if I know

This is awful. You don't need to shift through the damage protocols the system currently throws at you at ever increasing speed to know - the smell of burnt plastic, fuel and flesh is enough to tell you that. The ship crashed, badly at that. Life support, the backup generators and some facilities are pretty much all that is left. Thinking about the death count is something that you actively divert your thoughts from. But the worst is yet to come, because while communications are offline so badly that the techs hysterically laughed when you asked them if they can fix it, the logs you just whisked away from your screen indicate that the ship lost contact with the main-fleet decades ago. You somehow doubt help will be coming any time soon.

You finally gesture over the technical ensign that has frantically tried to get your attention for the last half minute or so. They got the intercom working again, which means you are about to inform the crew that instead of awakening from cyro at the promised outer colonies, the situation looks a bit different. But then, you are quite sure most of them have already figured that one out by now. Allowing yourself one last heavy sigh, you grab the mike and the speakers noisily crackle to life...

Choices
We both know you want 'em. Well then, here you go.

Commander Name:
You obviously have a name. Most races that are not hive-based do. Not that we know that IC, but hey.

Ship Name:
We even got to choose that one by ourself. Just look at what beauty it once was! You are not so keen on seeing it in its current state...

Race:
Indeed, we are most certainly not a hairless primate. We don't even know them to exist, nor do we know of any other sentient race besides our own.

  Klorga
Stemming from a red dwarf system, the Klorga of the Narvec System prefer dry climates, their bodies consisting only 60% of water. They obviously need not much of it either, their whole metabolism being a bit on the slow side.
Trait: Slow Metabolism – Less Water and Food is used, Injuries and Sickness take longer to heal
  Lyrcnos
Strange beings are the Lyrcnos, their home planet Morzoqu having developed lifeforms on a silicon basis instead of carbon. They know the later to be far more common, but find themselves unable to process a carbon diet by natural means. Subsequently, there is also no chance that any carbon pathogens would work on them.
Trait: Silicon Biochemistry – Unable to harness carbon based lifeforms, or to be infected by them
  Hreyl
Hailing from a previously aquatic lifestyle on the planet Thangf, the Hreyl need a substantial amount of water to keep going. On the other hand, their multitude of appendages also gives them an edge above the other races. If anyone would be in a place to compare them, that is.
Trait: Aquatic Origins – Needs a good deal of water to live, though the multitude of appendages work well on land

Preview of the Main-Game

This game will be turn-based strategy survival, with small story segments when viable. It will actually be pretty straight-forward and uncomplicated, at least for my standards. We have two basic resources - Materials and Energy - which are used up in tasks. These tasks are either Technical, Military or Scientific in nature. Lastly, we have the survivors in teams of 10, and their equipment. The map and more about all that comes next turn.

For those wondering, the S in ISG just might stand for strategy. But then again you also get to suggest which actions we are to take...
Maybe I should make it an ISSG?
Illustrated Strategy Suggestion Game... yeah, that has a nice ring to it, no? ;p

Well then, here for my newest game. I felt like doing something turn-based and sci-fi-ish. Actually it seems quite like the opposite to Ghoulish, so I guess it counterbalances it somehow. This here only needs a few more resources to be drawn and written, which will make it quite quick to update in the long run. Either way, here is hope that you guys will like it ;3

Reserved for misc purposes!
They always pop up sooner or later...

But really, one reserved post should be fine for this game >>

Well, was not expecting that. XD TIE doesn't actually stand for anything right now so, if anyone has an idea, shoot. :)

Thunder Ion Exception? Time Increment Exception? Totally Inane Event? Time's Inevitable End?

I'm just kind of tossing ideas out there.

Terrestrial Interstellar Explorer? With the Survivor name given by the crew who survived the crash onto the planet?

No, Terrestrial (and) Interstellar Explorer. That way it isn't an oxymoron.

Wikipedia: Terrestrial planet, a planet that is primarily composed of silicate rocks, and thus "Earth-like"
