Ontario, the most populace province in Canada and home to the largest city and the capital, is having a sudden election (it's in a month, and was only called last week) because the NDP (socialists/left-wing) are not a fan of the Liberals (ACTUALLY liberals, for once, but still fairly centrist) budget. The NDP needed to support the budget for the minority Liberal government to survive.

Polls are saying the Conservatives are leading.

Nice job fucking it up, NDP. "We don't like the budget you have put in place, you bloody centrists! Oh... Shit. Fucking right-wing now?"

I hadn't even noticed that clause. Which also makes this post the last one I'll probably make in this topic. What's the point of sharing something when nobody can react.

You're welcome to react, just, y'know, in a different thread. The point of sharing, here, is to share information people think is interesting or notable (which quite a few people have expressed interest in), that they think other people might not know of. If it's enough to trigger discussion, a thread can be spawned or it can relocate to one of the regional threads.

I should add that basic reactions such as "thanks for this!" or something to let people know you're reading what they are posting is fine. If you want to have a discussion about it though, yeah, this isn't the place to do it.

And yes, I'm hoping at some point we might be able to get news from Ukraine in here, but it's far from the only time I just wanted to read interesting suggestions by your guys or suggest something I think is worth reading that you might not know about.
