Awarding Eurovision hosting rights to Ukraine with its rather dire financial situation would be incredibly cruel. They would have to either hold the Eurovision on a shoestring or ask the EU for money.

Personally i didn't care about the EV contest for quite some time but i came upon some funny info.
Poland had 1'st place in the UK among audience but given last place bu the jury and t translated to 11'th place while austria got 3'rd place among both viewers and jury and it somehow translated to 1'st place.

How did they even count that?
It's also funny how political corectness affects even a stupid pop competition.

We've got a lot of expat Poles here, so that's not surprising. As for Austria, it's the average that counts. Someone who got ranked 3rd by jury and audience can beat one that got 1st and 20th which averages to 11th place.
