If you guys want to organize specific days for each server that is something you can do but I don't really feel comfortable with telling people how and when they can play.

The simple fact of the matter is that some people want to play with mods and they will play on a modded server. Others are perfectly happy with vanilla. Still others will play on both.
I see no logic in punishing everyone by dictating how and when to play on which servers.

Personally I can only do vanilla minecraft for so long before I lose interest... but I host these servers for you guys, not for my own benefit.

Testing of the 1.7.2 modded server is going well. I'll be ready to let people in to play around and try to spot any issues this afternoon.

Since people have asked:

I AM planning to include ars magica 2 once they update to 1.7.2
I AM NOT including Tinker's Construct in this build. I like TC but the mod author does not support a 1.7.2 version, going so far as to make a FAKE download link for the 1.7.2 version linked to troll videos. (Really... go look)

I have not been keeping up with the updates. They update often and sometimes introduce crippling issues. I'll look into updating this weekend if you like.

Magecraft 3 is now up and is proving stable enough that I am comfortable with just whitelisting everyone already on the vanilla server. I still need to figure out an easy way to distribute the client however.

Okay, to keep this slim I'm only going to distribute the mods + configs. Its up to you to install forge. I'm sure you guys can figure it out and there are dozens of tutorials.

Anyone who wants to play on magecraft3 check the OP in about 10 minutes, there will be a link to the modpack and the server IP will be there.

Yeah, I was confused at first, but I eventually realized I needed to extract the thing to my Minecraft Appdata folder and replace the config and  mods folders.

Though I'm not actually sure what the point of this post was since I already saw greatorder on the server earlier. This is more for other people, I guess.

You installed forge to a 1.7.2 instance and its crashing? That's odd, and (no offense) I'm inclined to say you did something wrong. Are you sure you've followed their install instructions?

Try running it without any mods or anything, just a 1.7.2 instance with forge. I usually do it in a separate folder (you can pick where to have it located under the profile settings)
