Towards Minecraft server: RIGHT, now that I've reorientated myself after losing where I had started this.

If you have any left over cobblestone you'd be willing to donate, facing the castle mapwall, head over the wall in front of you and turn left. Go forward and past a weird squiggly thing built out of dirt on a hill and continue forward. You should pass two pillars of dirt with torches on them. Go over the mountain range in front of you (go over slightly to the left of it) and you should come across a building on a hill as well as part of a wall. There is a chest up in the building on the hill if you need one.

If you would like to help me, what I have in mind is something like this.

Obviously not going to recreate the whole damn thing, but the general theme for towers and so on is what I'm aiming for. Feel free to add any bits you'd like, though preferably make them big and stick within the flattened stone area behind the wall structure.

General pattern so far is 5 blocks high is cobblestone and anything above that is stone bricks.

What are your requirements? Some people have spent a lot of time mapping. We might be able to suggest a spot if you can tell us what you want. If you want an extreme hills mountain, there are kind of a lot of them. Pretty much pick a direction from spawn and you'll find mountains.


Forsaken: would you check applications? I think we have two people who've said they've applied but haven't been accepted yet.


I've placed ender chests in the pyramid, the blaze farm, and in the inside middle of the gold farm. Any other public facilities that need one? If I still have extras, anyone want one for their base?


Also, it seems that the npc village has met with a zombie apocalypse. It's down to one villager. I filled in a couple stray spots with spawnable light levels I found inside the walls, and I can repopulate the village...but does anyone use it? I occasionally see people use the cobblestone generator, but so far as I can tell it's mostly just me visiting for chickens and wool. If I renovated the village would anyone use it?

Odd, I wonder what happened in the village, as I was pretty careful in setting up the torches to cover everything. I was semi-regularly using it for trading and occasional wheat harvests.

Yes, the zombie siege thing doesn't happen anymore. I never saw zombies in the village, but after I noticed only one was left I confirmed found several light level 7 squares. So I'm just assuming stuff spawned and nobody noticed.

I'll repopulate the village at some point.
