Okay, we're definitely not playing the campaign I thought we were.

What campaign were you thinking?

I was thinking a silly dungeoncrawl, mostly just to demonstrate the rules. This will be fairly minimalistic on the Roleplaying front, becuase I'm not very good at that and becuase it's mostly independent of the rules anyway. Instead, it will feature most of the DND standards - traps, monsters, physical challenges, plus a touch of economics (Funding your expeditions, disposing of loot, etc.) Perhaps later I will do a more comprehensive campaign- one of the two I'd mentioned in the OP, or perhaps an infinite worlds or modern wierd stuff campaign.

Quirks dont count to the disadvantage limit, do they?

nope. They have their own limit, five. Any quirks after that don't give you points.

The post-apocalyptic floating-islands one.

No- we might do that one later, but for now it's generic Dungeon Fantasy.

I take it people aren't interested in Dungeon Fantasy?

I'm interested. I'm pretty sure my character sheet's finished? Mostly, I still have about half my starting wealth...

Check out DF 13: Loadouts. It'll give you a good idea of what to buy.

Don't be afraid to ask questions, then.

Alright, so GWG and Immaterial have finished their characters. Now we just need kj1225 to finish his, to decide how we're starting out. Do your character already know each other, or do you want to roleplay meeting?

I need to buy wealth to actually be anything close to the usefulness I want, is that fine?
