As a matter of fact I have two based on the same thing. I want to either play as one of the heisters in Payday or Bain.
...I have no idea what either of those are.
I have one question.
Can I be a flying car, built by Nikola Tesla?
Sure.
I also forgot to explain Schimmelhorn engineers, and the categories of mutant powers.
Schimmelhorn engineers can make things that shouldn't be physically possible, and clearly violate physical laws- but somehow, work all the same. Schimelhorn engineers are usually crazy- it seems to be a required trait.
Mutant Powers: Mutant powers have a number of variations, of which a mutant will frequently have multiple. These are:
Exemplar: An exemplar is a mutant whose body is controlled by a Body Image Template, or BIT. Many descriptions say that the BIT is formed from a subconscious ideal, other authorities claim that this is poppycock. The BIT may make them stronger, faster, tougher, smarter, and usually (but not always!) cuter. Many exemplars seem to represent the "ideal human" or perhaps the "next evolutionary step." Others seem to be the result of a demented mad scientist experimenting with radically divergent body types. Radical exemplar changes can happen in minutes, hours, days, or over the course of a year. Typically, there will be a smooth metamorphosis that lasts several months. Most mutants are examplars, to some degree.
Avatar: An Avatar is a mutant who has the natural ability to form a symbiotic bond with spirits and gain powers from them.
Devisor: The mutant version of a schimmelhorn engineer. They usually have much more stable inventions, ad don't have to be crazy, though a lot of them suffer from diedricks
Energizers have powers based on some form of energy, which they fuel with their metabolism. Energizers usually have some level of Increased Consumption.
Manifestor: can make and control a material.
Psi: Some mutants have psionic abilities. n this case, the Psionic modifier replaces the mutant modifier on their psionic abilities.
Gadgeteer: Has an instinctive grasp of mechanics. Unlike devisors, their inventions are mundane.
Shifter: Shapeshifting. Include "Power Mimics"
Wizard: Mutants with the wizard trait have vastly superior magical abilities to normal humans.
Warper: Control over a fundamental aspect of nature, like space or time. This might be general control, or a single trick, like teleportation.
