If you really want to get right in the game and start earning some experience right away, you could always offer to work for free, or at least just for upkeep.

Although for a few turns I believe you wouldn't be actually getting any upkeep, three dudes getting three income means zero left over? That said it's not that big of a deal because you can just just grab a thread and heal on it for a turn to make up for it once your team can afford you. We would certainly welcome you to the team.

Also, when people decide to finalize their actions, please put it in bold so I can tell. People seem to have already been pretty much doing this, just want to reinforce it as good behaviour.

Does that mean 2 gold per turn or the amount you have to pay for upkeep yourself +1 once they can afford to pay your upkeep?

Oh, Cript, if Flame owes you two gold at the end of this turn, he won't be able to pay upkeep for himself.  Flame can only pay the three of ours upkeeps this turn.  Next turn. however...
