Enchant a random object with positive energy generation runes. Check if the crystal ball needs negative energy specifically before moving any nodes.

Create earplugs for everyone that only filters out dullness.

> Finally do everything in this post.
Sounds like a plan. For earplugs, use general enchanting.

You whip up some earplugs for yourself and everyone else, so you can block out the dull noise coming out of his mouth. you can barely hear him, but now he sounds like a human bean.

What now?

((Did we try an actual prince Rupert's drop? it's a bit unclear? if not, why? Both of the two first tests seem *related* but not exactly it.))

> Kirek and Richard: spar a bit (unarmed) so see if the fur effect helps with offense or defense.

> Is deciding who controls the shard beforehand and the others avoiding focusing on it enough to get it useful? does it make a good weapon in that state? Can we put a "password" on it in the form of requiring the right *kind* of focus, or attune it to a specific person?

> The lack of info on specific node contents and counts is starting to get very consistent, and my questions about it consistently ignored.

> Suck all the nodes from some random bushes and trees the wagon is passing and infuse that into one of the shards.

((The experiment failed, Light does not have the right composition to turn into a prince Rupert's drop, and instead turned into a violently reactive slush which evaporated.))

Oh, finally! Hmm, can I get some of the stuff not listed in inventory but is everywhere, like a fly and a plant, and the various pieces of our hairs/scales/blood I mentioned? (probably skip straight to what nodes we are each made of an how some of those can be safely extracted from regenerating parts) Also, I think we bought a few things (" (Potion bottle, small wand, potion ration, attuned gemstone, 45 gold)") you never listed in the inventory OR listed the nodes for.

You enchant the dragon's hat with energy producing magic, then you plop the crystal ball on it, and put the totem under it, allowing the party to divine visions from things. Evimeria's head has never been heavier.

Looking around, you see such things as the little life nodes in fly's and plants, Utterly worthless, and you aren't talking about the nodes, whoa where did that come from?

You observe the nodes in your friends, eternal, divine and life nodes in Evimeria, Richard has the basic life nodes in his soul, but they are tied to other nodes you cannot even see, destiny is a strange thing, you can also see the basic life nodes in Quidives, and the incomprehensible blend of nodes and chemicals in her stomach. you are made of darkness, plain and simple, but there are nodes within you that you cannot seems to understand, tied into your mind and being.

You and Richard spar for a bit, before Richard hurts his fist, little spines of darkness sticking out of his knuckles. which fade into smoke, but it also hurt you like hell, hair isn't meant to be violently pulled from one's skin.

The Wagon shudders violently, are you being attacked?

What will you do?

The wagon lights up a bit, as the sun gets high.

Check the crystal ball to see if you're being attacked.

((the small wand doesn't have one yet, it is intended to provide a hard bonus to generally enchanting it.))

"Oh, that makes sense, we, a single group of previously unknown people, in a single wagon, with no decor or discerning markings of importance, are being attacked by a fully manned airship in the middle of nowhere.

"What are you talking about, that makes -no- sense!"

"I know, but sarcasm helps to cover up my overwhelming fear of death that now permeates every minute of every day"

"That was so dark it was my shadow."

The wagon shudders again, that shot was closer.

"This wagon may be made of a powerful steel, but it cannot take hits from that cannon without consequence"

The sun had an intervention, it's drug abuse was hurting the ones it loved ((Finally remembered to freeze time for combat!))

What now?
