You open the drawers, two of them were trapped, hitting you in the face with a glove filled with stones, the last was not.

in the drawers you find several things.

10 Curvy swords of varying quality.

A tiny bottle filled with a red and black substance, labeled Morte-morte in fine script, an emblem on it depicts a flower growing over a skull, the flower looks a bit like a face itself, when overlapped with the skull. Strange symbols are along the back, you having no knowledge of them can only assume they might be ingredients of some kind.

Several hundred pounds of "Turban your own damn self" a cheap clothing alternative, it is basically a long, thick ribbon, woven from an abundant plant in Quarrel swamps. it's claim to fame is that there is enough of it to create clothing for several people, and is sold in lengths several yards long.

Nighttime is nearing.

> Examine morte-morte for nodes. Have everyone else check them out and see if they recognize or can read any of it.

"Morte-morte, I remember this stuff, A drop of it could kill an army of millions from alchohol poisoning, this could be used to make, well, Miraculaserum, a potion that grants any desire that a potion could fufill..."

"The ingredients of it are on the back in alchemical script, basically, it is triple refined rubbing alcohol made from a plant that only grows in the bottom of the river styx, mixed with a fermented Corpse of the Pepper king, a rare monster that some times appears around these parts."

Its nodes are unseeable, a black mess.

you grab what you want before going up, then right, and you find yourself in a new room. which is to say you are outside.

The floor is slanted, Likely due to the crash.

The moon is bootyful

you have no empty flask, or barrel, but you make due, summoning a ball of enchanted water from the air, you put a single tiny tiny drop into the gallons of floating water, an inky blackness clouds the entirety of it, further analysis reveals it to be filled with nodes from hundreds of different plants, but the poisonous ones are strong enough to render even this diluted amount lethal.

the "orange ball" is the wheel of the ship, silly billy!

A barrel rolls down the slanted floor, but Richard stops it with his foot.

Summon a smaller ball of water. Move all the poison into the second ball.

you split the orb in two, one filled with poisonous plants, one with all the rest, the poisonous one is beginning to eat away at your enchantment, it will dissipate at the end of next turn, spilling highly toxic poison everywhere.

Put it in the pot. Remove as much water as possible.

You remove all the water you cn, before dropping it into the pot, it has transformed into a boring looking white, powdery stone.

> Break of 1/100 of the stone and set it on fire

> separate of 1/100 of the water and try to set that on fire

> Ask the fireball what they think with a wink.

[edit: more]

> How many droplets are there in the bottle?

> Infuse the poison from another drop into kireks knife, for poison damage and drunkenness debuff.

> Make a crystal out of all the flammable/energetic nodes from a third drop, lots of reinforcing nodes, repairing nodes combined with the same kind of enchantments as the everburning wood before so it'll regrow, and some regulating enchantment so that it'll moderate itself and never run out. Put this in the lamp where the wick would go; bam, new place for fireball to live!
  - Maybe look up in the earth magic book how to make this form a good crystal.
  - Bonus feature: absorption/conversion/dissolving nodes to let it be boosted by adding other fuel sources.
  - Bonus feature: emphatic connection with the fireball and control nodes, to let it have fine control over how much fuel it gets vs. saves and maybe even how/where/what kind.
  - Bonus feature: Energy transfer, energy production, and violent energy nodes. In case the droplet is insufficient...
  - Bonus feature: Control nodes, empathetic connection v. fireball, and levitation node on the lamp itself to give independent mobility.
  - Bonus feature: ____ of holding enchantment for the fuel thing in the first bonus feature mentioned.
  - Bonus feature: Integrated wand attached to the lamp, with projecting nodes and aimed with the levitation from to bonus features ago, but projecting the fireballs own inherent fire magic rather than it's own power.

((the idea herestory/character wiseis that these bonus features will not be had at the start but be part of it's character advancement. probably.))

"That knife of yours looks like it could use some poisoning? I still don't feel comfortable about using this stuff so frivolously though, but as long as it is for science I suppose."

Looking closer, you assume there can be no less than 2 fluid ounces in it.

Taking some of the stone and the water, you try to set them aflame with an enchantment.

the stone glows red hot like a coal, releasing a strange gas, you quickly divert it away from you and the party.

the water sparks around it's surface, but then goes out, it does have a lot of water after all.

you take 2 more drops from it, applying one to your knife with an enchantment to ration it over a period of several billion years.

the blade turns pitch black after the infusion, and the grooves seep a green liquid.

you drain another one of flammable nodes, you get the vision of a plant seeping magma, the petals a lavender color, before reasserting your focus, you apply the nodes to the wick, and apply evne more enchantments to that, providing a perfect home for the flame.

"So, what do you think?"

"fire cannot be poisoned either way if this contraption proves to be covered in it."

He hops in, the glass of the lamp bursting out, and allowing oxygen into the flame. He spits out the wood, a glowing white hot coal that quickly melts through the floor.

"Please try not to fool with that stuff if you can help it, not only is it worth more than this entire ship, but I am fairly certain it could kill whatever it touches."

she says, glancing around at the variety of species present in our party.

"Now, If we have this stuff, then I might be able to make the legendary potion, I would need a few things though. Like the heart of a graveyard, freely given, a lock of a genie's hair, part of a divine being's liver, and an ancient dragon's tooth, in perfect condition.  Then again, I suppose that is a bit of a stretch, even if the miraculaserum does cause miracles."

Does our dragon "friend" count? Cause he used to be ancient.

> Yea, check if the tooth still counts as ancient even thou the dragon is aged. And Evimeria consider if taking a tiny sample of liver tissue would be worth it.

(which of the bonus features for the lamp did we end up making? how powerful is it now?)

(acording to wolfram alpha, thee's some 1200 droplets in that bottle, at the very least. taking 13 is about 1%. )

> Lets go find a good, solid box of appropriate size for the bottle. Pad it with solidified stabilized air to be super soft inside. Reinforce it with whatever metal bands and locks and chains and stuff we find around the ship. Then take out 10 droplets, but them inside crystals that we can remove the strengthening nodes from then break to get them out, and then put the rest of the bottle in the box and wield it shut.

> Take one (of the) droplets, then separate it out in 5 to 20 different ones based of the main components/node types, then  stabilize each of those into a crystal for storage/later use. (please list what these actually are...)

> Next time we're in town we should really get a book on wand-making and other ranged magical devices and a whole bunch of thse empty wands. (an maybe make a gatling wand) Speaking of which, read some sections from the grimore of poisoned magic that seem relevant to enchanting stuff using the nodes from the morte-morte. And some random bits of earth magic. And a table from magical metalurgy sumarising what relatively cheap/common metals are good and bad a enchamntment-wise.
