You produce a whetstone from the shadows and offer it to him as a means of sharpening that silver tongue of his, unfortunately, sharpening tongues is more of a metaphorical thing, and would be quite gruesome, he takes it as a joke.

"That is a funny joke friend"

"Oh wow, you were right, he really -is- that dull."

Evimeria shudders.

"The trip to Goddess road will take about 10 nondescript units of time. Please find some way to occupy yourself until we are assaulted by bandits and monsters on the way."

((The enchantment ability that kirek has is already established to be able to produce a limited amount of nodes in an object, But can also be used very generally without dipping into node crafting for quicker results, I.E you could just say "Enchant earplugs to filter out Dullness" or you could say "Create nodes that filter out noises and ones that specify dullness as the criteria for a node's effect",
the difference is that i do a roll for general enchanting which can result in an item above or below the norm, and have secret numbers for specific node manipulation which cause instant failure once exeeded.))
