Re: Darkness Redeemed: "The Many", (Paperwork = Evil)

You give the room a once over, refusing to touch the stack of paper.

The bookshelf, after a first glance holds a number of books;

"Histories of Inner realm Pt1", "Histories of Inner realm Pt4",
"Grimoire of poisoned magic",
The complete series of "Necromantic spells and you!",
"Mythos of Inner realm",
Another copy of "Mythos of Inner realm", "Big book of earth magic", A nameless journal.

On the desk you find an obsidian pillar, a purple crystal ball levitates above it, you see glimpses of other parts of the tomb within.

Making very sure to not touch it. you glance at the top of the paperwork, something about "upkeep budget for enslaved pocket dimension" and another registering a purchase of some kind of souvenir from a place called "Goddess road".

You check the drawers, but find mainly writing supplies, and one low quality wand, enchanted to automatically scribe whatever is heard.

The chest holds a large amount of apparently worthless trinkets, on top are several hourglasses filled with a silvery dust, upon looking at them closer, they have no nodes, and are mundane.

there is no way you can carry all of this, so you decide to think on what you should take, there must be something here that will provide a lead.

If you searched something specifically, you might find something more, but there should be enough here for the royal CSI to discover Winter's location.

What will you do?

Grab the crystal ball and the two spell books. Also look for a bag or something to increase your inventory.

Nonononono, the BOOKCASE is a single item containing ALL the books. Put it in your sack.

Remember that time when a thief robbed a bank by tearing it off its foundation and carrying it away? Me neither, but that popped into my mind. No vote from me right now.

Wait.

Goddess Road. No relation to the Silk Road drug website I imagine, EHHH?

Richard, confiscate the ordering sheets and look them over with the scrutinizing eyes of JUSTICE.

In the meantime, Quidive, take a peek at that nameless journal.

If we want to get more technical, the bookcase is a form of container, much like our satchel that holds our haversack, so putting them in the remaining satchel slots should allow us to increase our maximum inventory capacity - thus carrying all the books they contain.

As well as the fact that, so far, weight doesn't seem to be a problem, so... Yeah.

Uuuuh-huh.

No, we put the room in the bookshelf and then the bookshelf into our haversack.

Because he might be all "No, too heavy" and then we'll be all like "Nah, we're carrying too much stuff as it is, all that matters is inventory slots!

As for Kevak's... Who wants to talk Shadestyle into agreeing that the building is just one really big container?

Well obviously a building is a container, it's such a big container that people have to go inside to find what they want.

What about the original inventory? That's not even a real thing and seems to access hammerspace.
