We wandered in that forest for hours. Everyone got a lot stronger, but still, there were so many twists and turns, it wasn't even funny.

What WAS funny was when Sting finally evolved.


Sting: Kaku? (What is this weird feeling?)


What? Sting is evolving!


Sting: Kaku ka! (At last! I shed this shell to unleash hell upon the world!)

Congratulations! Sting evolved into Beedrill!

Sting: Beedrill bee beedri- (Muwahahahahah! Feel the power of my great stinge- wait a second...)

Sting still only knows harden!

Sting: Beedrill bee! (Curses! Foiled again!)

Red: Well sting, at least you evolved. Now you just need to learn an attack and MAYBE you can rain hell. Anyone see the exit yet?

George: Ratatta! (Nope, nothing yet)

Spike: Nido nid! (Hey, Draco, how about you burn a path through the forest?)

Red: We can't do that!

Draco: Char char! (Yeah! Master would get charged with arson!)

  Red: Yeah, what Draco said! And none of these trainers are willing to tell us the way out, even after beating them senseless

Sting: Nido nid! (Wait! Sting, you got wings, right? Fly up and see the way out!)

Sting: Beedrill bee bee! (If it will get us out of this cursed forest and onto better enemies to get me my attacks faster, then I will do it!)


Beedrill flew up high!


Red: See anything Sting?

Sting: Bee beedrill! (I see the exit, its that way! I will burn this cursed forest when I can use these wonderful stingers of mine!)

Red: Less talking, more moving, lets get out of this place. If we were in there any longer, I would've LET Draco burn the forest down. Blue's probably ahead of us now... Wait! I see sunlight!


Red made it through Viridian forest!


Red: *drops to his knees* WE'RE FINALLY OUT OF THAT CURSED FOREST! Alright, lets see whats on this route...


*Back to the present time*


Red: I hate to say this guys, but it seems the stronger pokemon are... Back in the forest. I know we got our next gym battle, and this won't be easy for us, but we need to prepare for this... And Sting needs to learn to attack.

Spike: Nido nid nid! (Hold up mafah, let me get this straight. You complained about being in the forest for too long and NOW you want to GO BACK!?)

Red: As I said, I'm not fond of the idea but its our only option. Plus, Draco needs to get up in levels before he even thinks about taking on Brock.

  Draco: Char char! (Why? What does he use?)

Spike: Nido (Rock types)

George: Rattata rat (Wait, isn't that what Draco is weak against?)

Spike: Nid (Yep)

Nidoran learns double kick... At level 43 in red/blue. So I literally have to deal with a level 12 and level 14 that resists every attack I throw at it

You are going to have to employ some strategy if you want to win this one. What kinds of strategy are up to you to decide, but I think even brute forcing it may be a risky business.

We trained long and hard in that forest and when we walked out, we headed straight for the gym... After a quick heal up of course. We crushed the gym trainer and then made our way to Brock

Brock: My pokemon are all rock hard!

Red: Please tell me this isn't turning into an innuendo...

Brock: Go Geodude!

Red: go Draco-

Sting: Beedrill bee! (FEAR THE ALMIGHTY POWER OF MY STINGER!)

Red: Damnit Sting, how did you end up going out first!? Argh! Switch out, go Draco!

Draco: Char Char! (I got this master!)

Red: Use ember!

Geodude: Geo geodude! (Your flames cannot hurt me!)


HEAT INTENSIFIES! Geodude was burned!

Geodude: Geo! (Ouch!)


Brock used full heal!

And thus we headed on our way to the next route, where we fought trainers and stuff like that.

Pidgey: Pidg pidgey! (Pidg one, moving into attack!)

Draco: Char? (Whats that thing coming at us?)

Red: looks like a... Pidgey?


Red threw a pokeball!

Pidgey: Pidg! Pidg! (Mayday! Mayday! We are getting caugh-)


Pidgey was caught!

Red: I'm gonna call you... Falco

Falco: Pidg pidg... (Falco reporting for duty sir...)

Red: If you think you're getting boxed, don't worry, I'm gonna train you until you're stronger then any of these other pidgeys!


Falco: Pidgey pidg! (I'm not grounded? Sweet!)


Falco was sent to Bill's PC

Red: Justs hang out here for a bit and we'll find a suitable place for you to train


Then a strange man sold me a fish for 500$... Well, it was a new member to the team, so I named the fish Karrie.

Karrie: Karp karp? (Where am I? All I remember was I was fished up and now I'm here. What year is it?)

Draco: Char (2014)

Karrie: Karp kar! (Holy crap! I haven't seen the sun for over 15 years!)

Red: Err... Right...

And thus we entered Mt. Moon...


Zubat: Zuuuu! (Feasting time!)

Red threw a pokeball! Zubat was caught!


Red: I'm gonna call you Bruce

Bruce: Zuba zu? Zuuuubaaaat! (Wait, I WAS CAUGHT! OH MY GOD, THIS IS THE GREATEST DAY OF MY LIFE!)

Red: Err... I think that makes 3 new guys we have to train...

And here began the heavy training regeime...

Added a new poll. I may or may not actually train some of these guys, but I'm seriously tempted on training Karrie and Bruce. Opinions?

So many poison types. So many (current or future) flying types.

Training Karrie against wild pokemon would be really time consuming, so let it soak up as much XP from trainers as possible before grinding, and save the two rare candies for when it hits level 18.

A Gyrados would be a very good thing to have. Train Karrie up for sure.

After that battle, we buried George outside of the cave. Its the best we could do. I took Karrie out and we now are back to full strength... But we lost a good friend today. You will never be forgotten George...
