Welcome to the world of Pokemon!

Welcome everyone, to my chronicling of my Adventures of Pokemon Red Pokemon Silver. We've all seen a nuzlocke challenge (those who don't, here's the challenge's basic rules: http://nuzlocke.com/challenge-comic.html) so why don't I give it a shot?

Here are the rules I will be using:

- Catch only 1 pokemon on a route, the first one you see
- Release any pokemon that faints
- Gifts/Buying Pokemon do not count towards the limit (no doubles however)
- No HM slaves (meaning no pokemon can be used only for HMs, you have to actually use them)
- Same number of pokemon as your rival does at your next fight
- Ignore previous rule for eggs
- Defeat Every Trainer
- No legendary captures, only kills
- No repels
- If you run into a pokemon you already own, you get another shot at finding a pokemon on a route, but no duplicates at any time
- Avoid glitches
- Shiny pokemon ignore all rules (even though on an emulator they do nothing beneficial) but cannot be used in combat if second pokemon caught on a route or is a duplicate
- Have the same number of pokemon a gym leader has when you battle them
- No running from wild pokemon battles

And that's about it. Oh, the starter will be chosen by vote by the community, as will some decisions like dome fossil, etc.

I should mention mine isn't dead, but it has been sleeping while I handle ftl and You Are Mountain updates, so probably update again over the weekend.

Chapter 1: The Journey Begins!

My name is Highmax, but everyone for some reason here calls me Red. And today, I get my own pokemon! I've waited years for this moment, and all my friends are telling me which one to pick. Well, they convinced me to pick Charmander, so that's what I'm going to do. I head out into the tall grass and...

Oak: Hey! Don't go out!

Red: *hands flail into the air in surrender* I swear! Whatever it was, I didn't do it!

Oak: It's unsafe! Wild Pokemon live in tall grass! You need your own pokemon for your own protection!

Red: Errr... Where can I get one then? I had a pokeball here to catch on-

Oak: Here, come with me!

And all the sudden he drags me to his lab by the collar and all I see is that asshole that Professor Oak calls his grandson: Blue Oak

Blue: Gramps! I'm fed up with waiting! I've been here since this morning!

Red: Wait, you've been here for hours? Waiting? Professor, where HAVE you been?

Oak: There are pokemon on the table! Haha, they're in pokeballs! When I was your age... *rambles on for a good ten minutes about the "good old days"* ... And now I have only three left and I want you both to pick one.

Red: I want this one!

Red obtained Charmander!

Charmander: Char! (Are you my master now?)

Blue: Hey! What about me? I'm your grandson!

Oak: Here, take the one Charmander is weak against!

Blue: Thanks gramps!

Blue obtained Squirtle

Red: Oh you DIDN'T! Battle me and Draco right now!

Red challenged Blue to a battle!

Red: Draco, use scratch!

Blue: Squirtle, use tackle!

And it was a battle for the ages...
 
Draco: Char Char! (I'm sorry squirtle! I'm trying to go easy!)

Squirtle: Squirtle Squirt! (Take it like a man, Charmander! You always were a pansy!)

But in the end, we won!

Blue: Damnit gramps, I thought you said that this one could beat Red's Charmander! You made me pick the awful pokemon!

Draco: Char Charmander Char! (Hey! Leave him alone! Yeah, he picked on me but he doesn't deserve to be made fun of!)

Red: Don't worry about it Draco, he's always an ass.

Draco: Char Char!? (Wait, you can understand me!?)

Red: Well, yeah. Don't you hear him speak Professor?

Oak: Come again? Pokemon talking? Preposterous!

And that was when I realsied I can hear pokemon talk. Well, this will be an interesting adventure indeed! Off to Viridian City!

I heard about randomizer, but I don't think I can do it on an emulator that's on my phone

You could import your ROM to the PC, use the randomizer and put it back.

Although if the aforementioned was an Apple product, it'd be more trouble than it's worth.

(It was taken from CoolRom's site with their iOS GBA emulator. I don't want to fiddle with it honestly.)

Red: Well Draco, lets go-

A WILD PIDGEY APPEARED!

Red: Sweet! Lets cat- wait, where did that pokeball I had go? Argh... Just knock it out Draco. Use scratch!

Draco: Char Char! (Sounds good master!)

Pidgey: Pidgey! (Holy s***! Help! I got a rabid lizard attacking me!)

A WILD POKEBALL APPEARS!

Red: Wait, WHAT!?

Pidgey was caught!

Blue: Sweet! Now I got one up on you loser!

Red: Isn't that illegal!?

Blue: Smell ya later Red! Don't get too far behind!

Draco: Char Char... (Wow... That guy is an asshole)

Well, the rest of our trip to Viridian went without struggle, and we healed at the pokemon center and went to the pokemart to get some pokeballs. The clerk somehow guessed I was from Pallet Town and he hands me a box.



Well... I told him he better have pokeballs when I get back. So Draco and I ran all the way back to Pallet town and handed the professor his package.

Oak: Ah, this is the custom pokeball I ordered!

Red: What does it do?

Oak: Absolutely nothing!

Red: ... you're kidding me right?

Draco: Char Char! (I don't think he is...)

Blue: Gramps! What did you call me for? I got two pokemon and they're so strong!

Red: Blue, no one asked for you.

Oak: Actually, I did. Here take these pokedexes so you can do this pokemon adventure properly! Just remember one pokemon caught per route as what the law says after that incident with one guy catching all the mankey's on route 22. Now get going!

Blue: Smell ya later Red and Gramps! I'm getting a town map from my sis and you can't have one Red!

Red: Who raised this guy to be such an asshole professor?

Oak: Sorry, I can't hear you over the lack of progress you're making on the pokedex, now get going!

We headed out of the lab and headed back to Viridian City. Who needs a stinking town map anyway? We fought a few pokemon and gained level 7!

We made it to Viridian city and paid that guy a visit. He said he'll sell us pokeballs after that ordeal and I asked if I can just get some free for delivering that thing and he tells me I didn't ask for payment when I accepted to do it. I told him he;s an asshole and bought some pokeballs and a few antidotes. You'll never know when you'll need them! We headed west and ran into our first ally: Nidoran (m)! We named him Spike after the big horn on his head. Thus began the training regime...

We fought long and hard, spilling our good blood sweat and tears as we trained on route 22. We finally got ourselves all trained and went north on the route and... Well...

Blue: Yo Red! The guards won't let you by because you suck! Let's battle!

Blue challenged Red to a battle!

Red: Go Spike!

Blue: Go pidgey!

Pidgey: Pidgey! (Not again!)

Spike: Nid! (Lets go birdbrain mafah!)

Red: Spike, use Horn attack!

Blue: Pidgey, keep using sand attack!

Spike's attack missed! Spike's attack missed! Spike's attack mi-

Red: Spike, return! Go Draco!

Pidgey: Pidg! (Wait, WHO!?)

Draco: Char char! (Hey! Look who it is!)

Red: Draco, ember!

Pidgey was toasted!

Blue: Go Squirtle!

Squirtle: Squirtle Squirt! (I'm back baby! Now to wipe the floor with you!)

Red: Draco, take him out! Use scratch!

Draco: Char! (You got it!)

Squirtle is nearly defeated!

Squirtle: Squirt Squirt! (Come on... use some of that fire you're so proud of... Don't be a wuss!)

Draco: Char charmander! (Fine! This is for all the bullying all those years!)

Draco used ember! Critical hit! Its not very effective. Squirtle fainted!

Blue: You got lucky this time, next time you'll be kissing my feet!

Pokemon max cap increased to 4! Sweet! We headed to route 2 after healing up.

Red: I wonder what our next ally will be?

A WILD RATTATA APPEARED!

Red: Go Spike! use Tackle!

Spike: Nid nid! (Yes boss!)

Red threw a pokeball! Rattata was caught!

Red: I'm gonna call you George!

George: Tata? (Really? I have a master now?)

Red: Yes you do. Guess who's going to be our leading man into the forest? You are!

George: Rattat (Should I be scared or honored?)

Spike: Nid (Probably both, mafah)

We entered the forest and began our horrid trek in here.

A WILD KAKUNA APPEARED!

Kakuna: Kakun! (FEAR MY EPIC STINGER! I SHALL DESTROY THE WORLD WITH MY GREAT STRENGTH!)

George: Rata? (Really? You can't even move!)

Kakuna: Kakuna! (When I'm out of this cocoon, I will watch the world be pierced by my stinger! Just you wait and see! I'll evolve any minute now!)

  Red: Geroge, tackle!

Geroge used tackle! Critical hit!

Kakuna: Kakuna! (Your pathetic attack cannot harm me- wait, that actually did sting)

Red threw a pokeball! Kakuna was caught!

Kakuna: Kakuuuuuuuunaaaa! (Nooooooooooooooo! My plans are foiled!)

Red: I'm gonna call you Sting

Sting: Kakun! (I am not some pet to be given names to!)

  Red: No, but when I train you, you may become that force to be reckoned with. What can you do?

Kakuna only knows harden

Red: ... I can't tell if I feel sorry for you or I want to just die of laughter...

And so we went deepre into the forest... And got lost in the process...
