STATUSES:

Bleeding: Whenever 3 or more Damage is dealt, Bleeding occurs. At end of each turn, there's 50% chance that Bleeding will deal 1 Damage or the Bleeding will stop.
Poison: Vicious poison starts circulating in the victim's body, dealing 1 Damage at the end of every turn. Poison only stops when the victim dies or is cured by magic.

MAGIC:

Mechanics:

While Commanders and their Tactics affect whole teams at once, Battlemages possess spells that can buff or debuff one target or inflict some harm upon it or heal their wounds or ailments.
Spells are cast at the beginning of the turn summary (akin to Tactics). If a spell has duration and the caster is killed, the spell is instantly stopped.

Skill:

Battlemage: You have Spellbook instead of Shield, it contains up to 3 Spells of your choosing. Your Armor is Robes, and you get 1 of four weakest weapons (either Short Sword, Hatchet, Spear or Flail).

Spells:

Accuracy: Battlemage or choosen Ally receives +3 to Hit to the end of the turn.
Curse: Choosen Enemy receives -1 to Hit and Evasion to the end of the turn.
Deathkiss: Puts Poison status on the target. Battlemage loses 1HP. Cannot be cast if Battlemage's current HP is higher than 3.
Harm: Inflicts 1 Damage and puts Bleeding status on the target.
Heal: Restores up to 3HP. Removes Poison and Bleeding at cost of 1 restored HP per removed ailment.
Lionheart: Battlemage or choosen Ally receives +2 to DMG to the end of the turn.
Regeneration: Battlemage or choosen Ally heals 1HP at end of the turn. Regeneration ends when Battlemage dies or HP is restored to maximum.
Timberskin: Battlemage or choosen Ally receives +2 to AP to the end of the turn.
Winged Feet: Battlemage or choosen Ally receives +3 to Evasion to the end of the turn.

Armor:

Robes: 0 AP, +1 to Evasion

SKILLS:

Beard Friend: Instead of Aketon and Chainmail, your Armor roll consists of Dwarven Chainmail and Dwarven Plate Armor. Also restricts weapon roll to Axes and Blunts.
Leaf Friend: Instead of Aketon and Chainmail, your Armor roll consists of Elven Cape and Elven Chainmail. Also restricts weapon roll to Swords and Spears.

HEIRLOOMS:

Swords:
Demontongue: 1-handed, 2-5 damage, inflicts Bleeding when at least 1 damage is dealt

Spears:
Venomspike: 1-handed, 1-4 damage, inflicts Poison when at least 1 damage is dealt, +1 to Damage against Chainmail/Plate Armor (including Dwarven versions)

Shield:
Amethyst Eye: +2 to Parry, wearer cannot be targeted by enemy Spells.
