Kyle searches for any food and non-contaminated water in the rooms. If none is to be found he goes back to get some from the communal stock.
"Right, everyone, lunch time."
Charles starts handing out the closest-to-expired things in the icechest, giving everyone enough to stop being hungry.
"Hey Monkey Man, you all set on food?"
Eat and drink from our supplies, stay with the group.
"I ran low on food before I came down here. Thought those monkeys would be a nice way to fill my stocks up. That didn't work out too well. I'd appreciate some food and water if you'll share it."
Get food and water if the others are willing to share.
Distribute food and water to everyone.
Charles and Big Joe Davidson hand out food and water to everyone in their group, who promptly tear into their bottled water and canned foods for sustenance.
Kyle searches the dormitories for nutritious goods, coming across nothing but dust and broken furniture. Under a broken desk, he does find a box of dusty, but unopened and otherwise normal microwavable Macaroni. Concluding his search, he rejoins the party outside, adding the box of cheap pasta to the reserve.

Realizing that the survivors back at the Farm had been left with little, if any food, the group packs up, beginning to head on back.
"Hocrap, you were right. I can smell it through the helmet."
John scrambles away from the smell and stands up, before slowly trying to walk into the barn.
John recovers from the initial shock of the Barn, before standing up and actually trying to go into it.

John peers in, spotting the various husks of what were probably love stock, rotted so long ago that they have been forsaken even by flies and maggots. The ground is littered with excrement. John spots what looks like to be some sort of cabinet at the other side of the barn. He ducks his head back before the stench can reach him once more.
