Chapter 6: Burial Service

Time: Late Morning
Public Safety.
The first stop for the members of the party at the University is to head over to the Public Safety building. Decado, as usual, keeps his eye out for any electronic goodies.
The front of the Public Safety building is reasonably intact, its tough stone-based exterior probably aiding that fact. It doesn't really seem damaged at all, besides some invasive shrubbery growing up the walls. Charles carefully opens up the twin-glass doors, and steps onto the tile floor. The front room contains a counter and desk, but no signs of shit gone grotesque. It looks like everything is bare, except a .40 Caliber lying beneath a chair. It looks alright, but it's clip is spent and that all that remains of this place unkempt.
During the search, the party hears the sound of a man screaming from outside the building. Accompanying the screams are the sounds of screeching, though they don't appear to be human. Something high-pitched and rather small from the sound of it.
"Guess we should bury him..."
Take the body outside, and collect suitably sized and shaped stones to entomb him. Cover the body with a layer of stones. Pay my respects.
"Uh, shyeah. Let's do that."
Bury our erstwhile friendo with Alejandro.
Alejandro and Majikthise drag the still warm body of William Anderson outside the house.

The carrying of the cadaver is a bit tricky for Alejandro, but fortunately he has his slightly more muscular companion to aid him in the effort. William is later out of the house, whereupon both of them find stones to cover him. A whiles later, William is laid beneath his stone grave, covered and protected from the outside elements, a piece of wood lodged in the ground as a marking spot.
While Alejandro and Majikthise pay their respects, they hear what seems to sound like a motor coming from the highway. Perhaps there will be company...

Vacation's got me sort of locked down on my update schedule, but fortunately I managed to sneak this update in. I've created events for both parties so by next turn, chance encounters are bound to happen.
