((What was the result on the chair legs?))

"Hey, are you alright?"

Poke him with a foot. If he doesn't react, turn him over and check his heartbeat and whether or not he's breathing.

"Whoa."

Pick up the hoe and turn him over. Check what might be up with him. Is he going to turn into a zombie? That would be bad.

Chapter 4: Split Path

~Day 1~
May 5th, 2018
Time: Late Morning

Quote from: Traveling Team
Go forward.

After their brief encounter with Charlie the Gunshop Resident, the party decides to hit the road once more and move further into the inner-city area of Monticello.
Before they hit the road, Decado checks out the vehicular corpses that litter the road. Across a few cars and a busted pick-up truck, he finds the same result, in that all have been heavily damaged and stripped: engine, battery, steering wheel, ignition, gear shift, air conditioners, pedals, tires, windows, and so forth, everything missing except for the physical areas of the vehicles themselves. Essentially, he has "Skeletons", while they have structures, they lack "Muscles" or "Organs" to operate at all.

Abandoning the cars, the trek down the road continues. A few miles down, they come to a split in the road. To the left, a sign reads that the Monticello University is just a quarter-mile away, and indeed a few buildings can be seen off in the distance. Continuing onto the straight path, the boundaries of the cities are also visible. A choice must be made.

((The legs are in fine condition.))

Alejandro and Majikthise make haste in inspecting William. Alejandro makes the first move, lightly poking him with his foot, which is answered with no response. They both turn the boy over, Majikthise worrying that she will see another resurrection before her eyes, though she knows this is unlikely as it has been many months since a single zombie sighting. William's breathing and heartbeat are both accounted for, neither seeming to operate. His eyes stay fixated on the ceiling, not blinking a single time. Their conclusion of his condition comes quickly.

William Anderson is dead.

Sorry about the short turn, I was going to write up for everyone on the road arriving at the town, but I have to give you the choice of hitting up the University first. Y'alls call.

((I wouldn't have expected GWG's character to be the first to go, he is usually very reasonable and takes few risks.))

Look around and on William's body for the cause of death. Get the rifle and the sickle, and search the body further.

"You got the walkie-talkie, right? We'd better get some information going."

It's simply the necessity of the situation, and I guess when speaking about GWG it should be in the past tense now. *sigh*...

"Yeah... better give the news."

See if I can reach the others with my walkie-talkie. If so, relay them a message.

"City team, this is Majikthise - William is dead. I repeat, William is dead. It does look like a heart attack or maybe a stroke, but we are not sure. Over."

Does he look like he's suffered from a heart attack or maybe a stroke? Popped an aneurysm, maybe?

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

Is she worth it, would you burn the city to save her? For her, I'd burn the world.
