Charles laughs again, this time more of a chest-laugh than a guttural one. "Sorry, if I handed out firepower to every sonfabitch' that came down this street I wouldn't have anything left to defend myself with! Though, supposing your group wouldn't mind putting in a bit of work, we could come to some sorta' trade agreement."

((Well, you know those grinders that sharpen tools? They normally come with what's basically that but with copper bristles.))

Take the hoe downstairs. Decide on a room to use as a "toolshed" for the present (probably the smallest, emptiest one on the first floor) and put it there.
Sweep the fields in search of other tools which might have been abandoned and forgotten.

Hey guys, just a quick status update for the current games I'm in - I apologize for not being able to post the past 2 weeks (I've been in Germany) and would like to inform you I will have very limited connection for at least the next two (As I tour Italy). Once I'm back in the States and with a frequent Wifi access i can resume normal posting times.


Special notice for this game, as It doesn't matter too much since I'm on the waitlist. Just move me down a spot or two.

Pick a good truck or 4x4 that's nearby and open it up and begin planning how I could repair it and what parts I'd need. Follow the group if they move off. Include a heavy duty metal bumper on the front for " road clearance ".

Check the chair legs on the second floor for rot, thermites etc. and take them if they're fine.

Check the general structure of the house - any signs of fungal infestation, general rot, cracks in the ceiling, that kind of thing?
