Ok lets start on the pistol.
Research Full-Auto as we are going to need to make a fully automatic weapon at some point.
Do we know what there judgeing on? fire power? ease of use?

Yes your office allows you to take 2 contracts at a time, but the nation is only letting you have 1 of the three contracts so it doesn't matter if you can have more then one contract, because the Empire only wants to give you one of those three.

World News
The Empire of Britannia continues to suffer from problems within the nation as numerous criminal groups, freedom fighters, and deserters continue to cause problems throughout the nation's borders. Winston Churchill has spread news throughout the Empire that the nation as a whole can no longer stand this rebellions and acts of domestic terrorism, and has declared the foundation of the Bureau of British Internal Investigation and Peacekeeping to crack down on domestic terrorism and treason.

Word spreads that Germany is currently undergoing strenuous changes, and immigrants from the country continue to spread the atrocities committed by members of Abteilung Reichsschutz.

You've heard rumors of tension between UNAC and the region of chaos that is South America as they continue to try and bring about peace to the war-torn area.

Research

Your scientists set to work, and over the course of a month they make massive advancements in the firing mechanisms of firearms allowing you to create guns that can continuously fire for as long as the trigger is held down, and there's ammo in the weapon. They inform you that you'll be able to implement it in the Foundry come April.

Production

Your Workers spend a full month on producing the new M-3 Semi, but even with their excellent work efforts the five of them only manage to produce ten of the pistols by the end of the month. It appears you'll need a larger work crew if you want to get decent amounts of production going for large projects like this ...
