Where exactly are we in Nigeria? It's important to know our area, since our distance to key targets such as major cities, civilian centers, infrastructure and military institutions as they will be among the most probable targets of bioterrorism.

Honestly lets say we're in the center of the country with a decent response to everything but the furthest borders where no one even lives by...except terrorists and smugglers.

With Nigeria, most of the large cities actually lay on the borders around the country, so the "furthest borders" are actually where a large portion of the population lives, with the exception of the South-East near Cameroon.

We know we're on the coast, or at least next to a river that reaches the sea.  We're building a dock, after all.

Rename Special Operations One to Threat Response Team Alpha
Rename HQ West Africa to BSAA Command Station

Begin construction of a building dedicated to be used in the soldier's free time.

Special forces name shall be: Ocelot 001
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Regular forces shall be named: Watchers
Finally, where anyone that's mediocre will go to. The Security Forces

Special Forces will spear head all operations and will do any high priority infiltration.

Regular Forces will basically be the back up for the special forces, providing heavy mortar support and over watch.

Security guards are for our bases basic defenses as well as holding on to any crime scene investigations for longer duration if need be. I'm thinking they will be there to keep civvies, journalist, and enemy spies out...by force if need be.

Furthermore, each one will have "Colonels" who will report to Chris Redfeild and us directly whenever we want or they feel needed. Colonels are the only soldiers allowed to make requests and are allowed to make support ranks however they see fit in order to run as smoothly as possible. Theirs only going to be 3 but each one has to be the VERY best not in combat (although preferably he'll know how to use a damn gun) but will need to be able to operate as a good leader.

Also tell the Workers to set up a barb fences around our base. That'll be our basic defense for now.

Thoughts?

I don't think there's much risk of us being attacked - we haven't even done a single mission yet. If we absolutely must have a fence, make the soldiers do it in between drills. As for the organization of the troops, we have 45. We don't need to put them into special categories yet. Looks won't matter either, this isn't an ISG.

Colonials should be based on how well they work with others, the friendliest and most assertive people.

Also we should move underground soonish.

There's also the fact that we don't know who we're dealing with immdiatley, whether it's ragtag rural bands with duck-taped firearms or trained paramilitary assassins.

Where exactly are we in Nigeria?
You're situated directly on the coast.

Ranges for assets are as such: Local (can move around the area it's in), Regional (anywhere in the current country), Continental (anywhere in the current continent), Global (to any other continent), Unlimited (doesn't need to refuel). Any asset above [Local] (excluding [Unlimited] of course) that reaches it's destination must return to it's mother base in order to refuel, which is required to sortie again. Assets can carry extra fuel to boost range.

1 month = next turn

We're just planning ahead here. Also I kinda have to agree that an underground base would be pretty nice.

Looks are just that honestly for visual imaging, which I'm kinda a family of, but if it's bad let's roll with out it 8)

Also can we buy 2 more Ox trucks and 2 more felixes?

I like having extras and having more will allow taking our troops dispatched quickly and efficiently.

Also can we ask red field for more info about himself? Training/experience type things? I'd like to get a feel for him as well as the federal pharmaceutical companies that help fund us?
