Chris' stats are classified until further notice.
FPC don't fund you, the world governments do.

BSAA Merchant
Ox, Felix, Partridge, Deuxes added to [Buy].

Instructors Event!
We predict that 35.8% (rounded up) of the operatives will be [Rookies] by next month. The rest will wash out. We can extend the training program by [1 month] to increase that chance by up to 2.6%, otherwise I don't think there's much else we can do for these guys.

Increase the training time for the ones who are probably going to stay trainee, let the new rookies off the hook.

That would make 16 [Rookies] with a possible 1 more [Rookie] out of the remaining 29 already washed out.

17 would be the max possible, yes. 16 are guaranteed right now.

FAKEEDIT: Oh fuck. I don't know why I wrote basically the same thing twice. Sorry. [Trained] was supposed to say "wash out." Edited to fix it.

EDIT: You can decide what to do with those who don't make the program, but they're useless as soldiers. Most will probably just want to go home after failing though.

If they fail then we can always use laborers or lab assistants (or D-Class Personal if any want to volunteer for that nasty bit.) Every hand counts. Offer them all jobs as anything that we can find a use for that they want to do. Just because they can't shoot for shit doesn't mean they can't do other stuff, find out their skills, their hobbies, their talents, put them to work, we're hiring EVERYONE if we can.

Menial base jobs are automatically covered, no need to sweat that particular detail. Really there's not much use for them but I wanted you guys to have the final word on it.

So our training is harder than military, huh. Hire them as base security if they so wish.

I say we keep the guys who dont make the cut anyways give them side arms and have them work basic security detail and clean up duty.
You know the spec ops guys go in clear out most hostiles eliminate the primary threat and move on then the scrubs come through and just check over the battle field make sure that all hostiles are dead or contained as well as run security for other government officials you know hospital personal fire men etc......

I still don't see a reason why we should keep these guys. There's nothing, at all, preventing us from hiring others (not even cost) which can be much more capable, to fill the jobs you guys want to give to the wash-outs.

I didn't think we could just hire others.

You can't buy personnel.

Besides as a game mechanic, what reason is there for why we can't just find a bunch of mercenaries and hire them? I suppose keeping this a top-secret base, and mercenaries run the risk of talking, but we could try to convert them into the standard rank-and-file.

Otherwise, +1 to keeping all the washouts as base security if they want the job. They can also be just regular drivers for our cars and trucks and stuff.
