uh buh wha? I'm glad past-me was distrusting these guys. When Robin's up, he's going to Color Spray, trying to get as many of them as possible, while avoiding Garenth. If he can only get one of them with it, he'll Chill Touch the closest/more threatening one instead.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

RAAAGH! JOE NEED TACTICS! RUN FOR SIDE OF BOAT!
You're still on the lower decks, so it's pretty narrow.
Unless you want to try to go through a solid wooden wall, you can either try to go up the stairs, or go back to where you were.
Or, you know, fight the dude.

I'm outmanned, so I'm going to run for the upper deck or the nearest port and jump for the water.

There's no ports on this boat, so yeah, to the upper deck with you when I update.

Keep a stem look as I stand up, unless I was already standing.

"Bring me on this "tour" of yours."

Due to waiting on Cthulhu and Scotland, the only person's actions I can do is Highmax's.
Everyone else is in too close of a proximity to them.

Spencer

You get up and agree to the offered "tour".
"Frel, this is just a little too close to breaking the rules for me."
"Then stay here. It's for the best, anyway, your armor would be too heavy."
"Too... You're not taking him to the barges are you?"
"That's where they are, the Silent Serpent."
Will sets his mug down.
"I'm in, if that's who you're talking about, I'm coming along, I'm sick of those shits. Zed, watch Trent for me."
"I told you not to call me that! And I'm not your baby sitt-"

His voice is cut off as Frel pulls you outside, with Will closing the door.
"Any questions before we head out?"

Well I accidentally completely forgot about this. sry.

"By the gods!" Garenth steps back and casts Flare at the dude with the crossbow.
(I have spell mastery of it, so if I know the rules right I can cast this without my spellbook or needing to prepare it beforehand, right?)

((Well, you have your spellbook anyway, but when it comes to cantrips, I usually find keeping track of them to be more of a hassle than what it's worth, so I'll let you use them pretty freely, to an extent.
Will update probably tomorrow.))

"Sometime this week."

Spencer

You follow them down the street to where these "Barges" are, and seeing many of the "wonderful" sights of Ravencrest, including what seems to be people running along the roofs. How strange.

After some walking, you come up to what appears to be a massive wooden tower. A great many massive wooden towers, in fact.
"They used to be trash barges, and the criminals starting building stuff on top of them. After a while, they have to keep building floors on top of the old ones, and extending outwards, until you're left with the clusterfuck that it is now."
"Calling it a labyrinth doesn't do it justice, the towers aren't anchored to each other, so a path that's clear one day may be a solid wall the next, because they shift on the waves." Frel stops and turns to you. "It's up to you. We could try to find a way through, we could try to climb to the top, but up there it's hard to keep your footing, and the floors are thin as paper. Your choice, unless you can think of a better plan."
"I know where the main center is located, the barges grew so large that it overtook a small island, so there is a small bit of solid land somewhere in the middle of it all. That's where all the people who actually live in there reside."

Bret

[Climb: 17+0: Success]
You scramble over to some boxes set up against the side of the building, and crawl up to the roof, followed by some of the guards.
The figure looks back briefly, and starts running across the rooftops, and you give chase.
[Balance: 13+2: Success] You keep your footing, which is [?] better than most of the guards. Only two of them is still behind you, and the figure is still running, but you're gaining ground.
Well, roof.
[Turns of running before Endurance check: 2]

Joe

You shove the jerkwad off of you and high-tail it to the door, bursting through into a horrid scene!

Robin and Garenth

Garenth Throws blinding lights into the crossbowman's face!
[Fortitude: ? : Fail]"Ah, my eyes!" [Dazzled]
He takes aim at Garenth! [Attack: 4-1: Miss] The bolt goes wild!
The chewing man draws a cutlass and moves up to the wizards, and swings at Robin! [Attack: 7+1 Vs. 17: fail] The blow glances harmlessly off the magical armor!
Robin interposes himself between the cutlass man and his comrade, and opens up with color spray!
[Opportunity attack from Chewing man: 3+1 Vs. 17: fail]
[Will saves: Brown= 14-1: Success | Chewing man= 9: Fail | Red Robed: 4+2: Fail]
The Chewing man falls flat on his face, Brown is still rubbing his eyes, and the Red Robed person screams in agony!
The Red Robed person casts Mage Armor!
Suddenly, a massive figure bursts through the door, turning it to splinters, followed by the captain flailing his arms at him!

Garenth: 8 HP [12 AC]
Brown: 0 damage taken
Chewing Man: 3 damage taken [Unconscious: 8 rounds!]
Robin: 15 HP [13+4 AC]
Red Robed: 0 damage taken [Blind/Stun: 2 rounds] [Mage Armor]
Joe: 14/22 HP [15 AC]
Captain: 0 Damage Taken
