I'll jump into the waiting list. My stats (Neutral Good Bard/Rogue):
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I'll build a character sheet if I make it into the game! I'm thinking an Indiana Jones style character, a professor that travels the world looking for artifacts, and then writes about his experiences. I think I can even find rules on using a whip! Or, possibly, a D&D Gildaroy Lockheart.

Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.
Just make sure he wears a boot.

Where tha party at? Oh wait, it's right here!  ;D

After looking at y'alls sheets, I think I'm gonna drop my wisdom to, oh, a 5. I've only played D&D like twice so I doubt I'll be a game wrecker anyway, but who wants to be competent?

Despite how much I'd like to, I can't update this game on my phone inbetween flipping burgers at work.
Sorry.

So does that mean until your internet is fixed, no updates for this, or just only when you're done work and aren't passed out as soon as you walk in the door?

You just have to wait until I can take my laptop to the library or something like that.

I still need to make my sheet. Urgh. I hate that part. There's no fun in looking through lists of spells to try to work out something that's decent.

Over at the library right now! Time for a turn, and the addition of Highmax, as his sheet is good.

Robin Blueeyes and Garenth Orcfodder

Robin takes a look around. He doesn't see anything that would make a good oar, but luckily they're drifting towards the city anyway.
He can see a few boats around, but most of them are fairly far off.
The closest one is still a good while away, and you aren't sure if they'd be able to hear you if you yelled.
Garenth guesses that it'll only be a minute or two until they make landfall, unless they can speed that up.

Arassuil and Bret

Arassuil stands with his empty bow pointed at Bret, while the cleric tries to calm him down.

A seagull calls in the distance.

Joe the Destroyer

Joe screams against the gag in his mouth.
He sees someone's face over the grate above him.

"Oi! Shut the fuck up down there!"
"Oh, just go down there and shut him up yourself, will you?"
"Gladly! Red, take the wheel, I'll be back."

Joe can hear footsteps over to one side of the boat, and see light pour down as the door is flung open around the staircase by the far wall, but he can't see him yet.

Sir Spencer

Spencer sits on the railing on the side of the boat, polishing his war hammer.
The merchant sailing the vessel says that it'll only be a couple minutes more until they reach the harbor, and then he'll let him off to do whatever it was he needed to take care of.

Spencer hails from the frigid northlands of Canada, and has been sent by his order to investigate a report of some kind of evil cult within the city of Ravencrest.
Probably a pair of dumbasses that got ahold of some book they don't understand, like last time you'd been sent somewhere.
It's a blisteringly hot day, probably at least 40 degrees.

Put away heavy cloak so I don't sweat to death and put on a cloak for hotter climates. Fiddle with holy symbol of Thor as we prepare to dock. Mumble about how damn hot it is here, despite the ocean breeze.

I swear by Mjollnir that if I ever complain of the heat back home again, I'll tear out my own eye.

Attempt to talk with some of the crew that aren't busy and ask where the closest tavern is when he hit shore. Also offer to give them a hand when the time comes to dock

"Okay, friend, I'm going to ask you again, PUT DOWN THE BOW."
Bret tightens his grip around his quarter staff, and speaks in a much lower, more commanding voice, "Weapon Shift." His staff glows a molten red, and one end morphs into the trident-like head of a Ranseur.

Arassuil realizes that his bow is empty, and lowers it.

"Who are you? All I remember is my ship going down in a storm, and I don't exactly want trouble right this moment."

Bret slides his hand down the shaft of his weapon, and the blade melts back into the gnarled wood of the staff.
"My Name is Bret. I am a trained healer, so trouble is the furthest thing from my mind. Do you want me to check you for injuries?"

Sheesh, I get a chance to go to the Library, and I don't even have enough to update with.

Spencer

The ships nears the docks, you'll be there shortly.
Someone tells you that there are probably at least three taverns that will be within sight by the time you land, there's a lot in the harbor to take advantage of the large amount of travelers.

Arassuil and Bret

The cleric's weapon shifts form in his hands, and the bowman lowers his weapon.
They continue to talk.

I can't do much bound and gagged, since I don't want to break my restraints yet.
