Kobolds aint dwarves. They might resist a punch to the face (unlike those glass skulls dwarves have) but they can't handle booze.

My second turn's unnoficial goal was to turn everyone into vampires, and it backfired so bad, I ended up making the fort a more efficient, safer and friendlier place.

Good update... and sneaky you, I thought the two druids in the opening were fort members. But it was just your story warm up. :)

Warm up it was, sorry I didn't make that clearer. Would you prefer to change your Bold'ing request, or wait for immigrants/druid hut?

And no Mate, Kobolds cannot hold drink very well I agree. but, Heznh didn't know that...

23rd of slate. first year of constant hangovers.

The snow and sleet are finally retreating, although the river and ponds are still frozen. Mithy is hard at work double checking his marked off and restricted areas until fishing season begins. The others whisper behind his back, apparently he's doing the job of a pet, 'fisher gremlins' or some-such. Well, as we don't have any here, Mithy will have to make do.

Constant complaints about a lack of buckets to put water in have met with my sheer disbelief, then grudging acceptance of Kobold stupidity. the lack of liquid water here is a fact I point out every time, but then the idiots seem to want a bucket, as that will fix the problem. At least with TenderRoast drunk we haven't had any unfortunate fires, only a fortunate one that burnt down his makeshift tent, however he has managed to convince one of the dispensable kobolds, the fish cleaner with the hot tail, to share her tent.

Matarata seems to be competent at dismembering the local wildlife, a shalswar at his side. we haven't needed to butcher any rats so far due to his efforts, and I've let him know the dragon looks favourably upon his efforts. it's made half the camp jealous, and the other half envious. I'll have to start sending out some other kobolds recruiting, perhaps the thief wannabe, Temptsfate. It may get us an influx of new kobolds, and will probably end up getting him killed. I can see no downside to his plan.

I've started having a drake hanging around me, and been talking to it occasionally, nodding wisely and such, it seems to impress the hell out of the doglizards, and my status as Shaman is secure. I wanted to go for 'High Priest', or maybe 'Archbishop' but the words didn't mean anything to these cretins. Dragon Shaman it is.

Kaytavo just ran over, and told me the Icewaters have broken small. I assume he m,eans the Thaw has begin to crack the pond or river. Seems worried about the others, as if they'll either fall in or get hit by Mithy on his rounds. well, I suppose he is the one who stitches up the mess.

10th Malachite, year one of our recruitment.

I expected Temptsfate to die horribly, and in a preferably messy manner, but it looks as if he succeeded at recruiting for the Cult. A grand total of two immigrants have shown up, one male and one female, both pretty useless. and they've been promptly drafted into our ranged squad, the Dragon Spitters. (I had to name it that, kept me laughing at the mental image for days, even with all these Koboldy onlookers. they still seem to think it is an honour.) I'll have to get some sort of ranged weapon manufacturing going on. Bolas are great, but I'm thinking from the way they cut through limbs fine, but get hooked on trees and branches, that they won't be any good against armour. so, we'll see what these kobolds usually do. Then improve it with some Human and Warlock know-how.

Maybe some sort of poison enchanted to rot people, or to raise the resulting corpse? crossbows and bows seem to be beyond the scope of what we can currently make. Or draw back properly. bloody small doglizards.

I stick with Druid. They are very easy to make, but take 6 months.

So... All the camp is angry at me? Well, I don't care, the dragon is happy, AND I HUNT WITH A F*CKING DINOSAUR!
Also, how do kobolds manage to cut off limbs with one of these?

21st Galena, Year One of Sinbad, the Trade Warren.

Temptsfate has been doing good work, if not for sense or being any less annoying. The dragon favours him and such, as he managed, on a recruiting wander to convince a caravan to bring its wares, such as they are. The Dragon has decided, thanks to the very fat drake I keep near my desk whispering to me (Or so they think) to reward him. I bought an Ironbone thiefs cloak, and a bunch of threads in exchange for some of the spare quills I had made from the bags of feathers laying around. Apparently they'd been using charcoal to draw pictures of Tails, (instead of breasts I suppose.)

The Perimeter palisade is complete, and a bunch of tents and overslung wood shelters have near sprung up near the north walls, where every type of leather and bone craft is currently being practiced.... fairly badly. A 'Shisha' Lodge has been set up, and Kaytavo has been put in charge of it, as apparently it heals Kobolds, so it will do until I can get a decent bonesaw made up for the infirmary I'll have set up. Mustn't have injured limbs that could be used for bone and meat put to waste.

Speaking of wasted meat, The Dragons Claws were let out to play today, some gnolls were hanging out the front of the camp, to the west, and taunting our diminutive sizes, and I wanted to see just how we actually fared once given a decent level of training. Apparently... we slaughter people. Literally, limb from limb chopping and splattered blood, spilled entrails, the stupid looks of surprise... This will do nicely. Oh Jreb, I can almost feel your arms around me, and see your beautiful scales skin.

Could i be bolded perhaps? male witcher(or a bold who becomes a witcher) named Yisen, distrusts the dragon cult and prefers to worship a goddess of luck (if there is a bold worships a luck goddess that would be cool)

23rd Galena, Year One of Sinbad, the warren of industry and idiocy.

The merchants are packing up, and I have kept the idiot they sent to treat with me waiting as long as I dare, her impatient yips and shuffling feet easily heard outside the door to my little abode. I have set up a bed, table and chair in this deplorably small and drafty room, but it will do. I go now to negotiate with her, and with any luck, I shall have some more converts to the true kobold religion once she gets back to whatever filthy cesspool she calls civilisation.

Mithy is finally fishing, instead of forcing people off 'his' fishing spots. more to restrict movements over the ice than anything else. When I explained this to some of the others, I was given suitable looks of astonishment for this foresight. except from TenderRoast. He just kept playing with an old piece of coal and looking at my Personal History Tome, which I am writing this in. He shall henceforth be kept away from my quarters. I shall have to give him something suitable to keep him distracted. either something that burns he can work at, or a grievous headwound. Either should suffice.

Gunarex has been distinguishing himself at keeping TemptsFate in line, or rather, out of the way. Sparring practice is a useful punishment when they are the target.

Sleep is way overrated, especially if you only have a life expectancy of 15 years. ;)
