...I have concluded that the in-game lifespan of a dwarf (besides the much more plausible dies-at-20-in-sock-accident) is surprisingly low.
Often, the dwarf race is shown having a lifespan closer to 200, sometimes even close to a half millennium.
Then again, the 120-160 is probably for the sake of population control, but since everything else is so skilled at that very task, especially goblins, don't you think 160 is a bit young for a dwarf to die of old age?
I don't care one bit about the life expectancy of the other races that have no real-life ties.
The humans have a quite accurate one, though.
