Going back to the argument of whether an Emperor should exist, humanity most certainly needs an Emperor. Apparently, the KX9 have created a Cthulhu. Maybe more than one.

EDIT: I may have been mistaken about them making Cthulhu (maybe - they might still actually have), but they've certainly created a Cthulhu madness aura.

EDIT2: Also, humanity would've surpassed the KX9 in terms of technology if it weren't for megacorps suppressing technological growth for thousands of years in the name of profit, a phenomenon well-known to the public. Aside from this making the general populace dislike capitalism more, it also makes fascism and communism more popular. An Emperor would have the power (not talking about authority here, but I could be) to take down the megacorps. This would lead to massive technological growth, less reliance on fascism and communism to keep the capitalists in check, and the resources that would've been sent to improve the lives of the megacorp executives can instead be used to improve the living standards of humanity as a whole.

Technically humanity would be equal to or a lil lower in terms of tech to the KX9 without the megacorps. KX9 have science as a racial motto. Humanity doesn't.
