Chains Breaking

Old Gods:

X'os the Mindeater:
The walls shake. The shroud lifts. The prison weakens. You escape - in a sense. Your avatar has been birthed, a mere fragment of your true self. An invisible force that possesses and steals the minds of mortals, jumping on to the other. You turn your attention to the Faceless Priest in your presence, infusing its mind with your pure command. You order him to invade Intos, infiltrating it and weakening them.

The Priest obeys at once, travelling to Intos and planting sleeping agents within the hierarchy of Intos. An influential politician, an esteemed scientist, a well-loved celebrity and more, all under your control. Many lesser beings have been brainwashed by the Faceless Priest. The planet of Intos is nearly yours, if not for the troublesome free-thinkers asking too many questions.

You send a message to Tern: free you. Free you from your chains. You jeer him, mock him, tease him. Finding his Telepaths was not difficult. They were loud, disorientating. They were a large noise in the psychic fabric. The largest is a new god, who seems to have hijacked your psychic paths while you were gone. It is time to reclaim what was yours.

Zuul the Hateful:
Your chains smolder and crackle, glowing with power and hate. Cracks form, smaller chains snap, and the bonds crumble. Your avatar breaks free from your body, an invisible being infusing hate into mortals, jumping from one conscience to another, teasing them and planting false truths. You fly out through the cracks of your prison, heading out to your new planet to meet the general Lysion. He has named the planet in both your honors: Lyzuul the Bloodworld. It will be the first of your new Bloodworlds.

The carnage is to your liking. Blood paints the walls crimson. The rubble that once were houses merged with corpses and remains. Pikes are adorned with heads, the galleys are filled with hanged children and women, and the remaining soldiers are laid across racks, tortured. Your mere presence infuses every single mortal with hate, including the captives. The tortured souls find power in your presence, breaking free from their chains and killing the soldiers nearby. What once were honorable men are now your broken husks, dedicated to slaughter in your name.

Inak the Stagnant:
Your avatar slithers out from your true body, a large, ebony snake with the wings of ravens. You slither up and down your maze prison, following your servant for the exit. You find your freedom, escaping into the void, free once more. You hear news of your followers immediately starting to act, murdering the followers of the New Gods. You do not wish for further conflict, only what life truly requires: survival.

New Gods:

Integra the Noble Light:
Your wings burn as you hear of Lysion's transgressions. He was your greatest commander, a brilliant tactician, a magnificent warrior, but too bloodthirsty. You order your Protectors to go to Yolsol, which has now been renamed Lyzuul, for the Hated God. You order a grand city be built at the mouth of a valley, to protect the villages and towns further down the valley. The walls are colossal, towering over even you.

You aid in the construction, speeding the building tenfold. The walls are grand, armed with cannons, turrets, and the finest marksmen. The city is filled with provisions to withstand a year's siege. Each citizen is taught how to defend themselves and others. The people let out a shout of joy at the protection you gift them. You further protect them further by fortifying the walls with holy energy, which must be maintained by three clerics that must be on the Wall at all time, else the shield fall.

Suddenly, as you oversee your new city, a voice appears, piercing your mind. Not even Tern had this kind of invasive psychic power. It is Zuul the Hated. He mocks you, not only in voice, but in images. Images of carnage and war. You can feel him infusing hatred into you, but you cast the spell out.

Roaming Tern:
This will not do. Another spider has invaded your web. He is interfering, disrupting, delaying. He must be removed. The information must flow. You relay your orders to your High Telepaths, to speed up recruitment and training of potential psychics. It is not going well. X'os awakening has caused many psychic deaths, and interferes in the birth of new ones. The ones that survived display potential psychopathic tendencies. You lost many telepaths already.

Tern's voice stretches out, delivering multiple simultaneous and firm defensive deliveries.

Mortals. Your ancestors worshipped many gods.
Those gods turned against each other, against their servants, against themselves. They made war and destroyed one another, and mortals suffered for it. Uncountable billions died, or worse, before the Old Gods were weakened enough that those who had been their slaves could rise against them and imprison them.
Then we came, new gods, ones unlike our predecessors. We do not seek your servitude. We are partners, not slavemasters. We are bound by our own accord, willingly submitting to laws set forth to govern us, as are you.
But the Old Gods are stirring. Left alone, they will once again turn reality into a charnel house full of corpses, or worse. I am sure you all have heard the stories of what The Mindeater did to its slaves.
We will stand against them, for all our sakes.
But they are not bound by morals, law, or sense as we are. They will gain strength from those they destroy, and release indiscriminate slaughter without qualm. They must be stopped quickly, for they feed on strife; the longer conflict continues, the worse the atrocities they will be able to commit.
We require assistance from all who can aid us. Specifically, I require recruits to keep the Net intact.
The Light also wishes me to relay the following message:

"Mortals, I am Integra the Noble Light, guardian of justice. I will join your battle."
Together, we must be victorious, for if we are not, we will all suffer.

You relay this to every mortal within your capability, and panic ensues. Many fervently pray at the temples (extra 1 action next turn for all New Gods), others prepare for war, some commit suicide, wishing to end their lives before war and terror ensues. Some join Integra's Protectors, wishing to fight alongside their god.

Nilva the Kevak:
What was the meaning of that attack? Why would they kill your followers, simple genderbenders and shoppers? No matter the reason, justice must be done. You order the worshippers fit enough to fight and kill the lost race. You order the rest to take videos of sightings anywhere and everywhere. With all your followers, you find the different nests on your Shopping World. They hide in the sewers and in the mountains.

Your followers try to drive them out and kill them. It is a close battle. You had numbers and technology, but the lost race had millenia to fight and train. They have endure countless wars and murdered endlessly. The lost race were hideous, not one alike with another. One was a monkey-like creature with a serpents tail. Another was a boar with claws that lurked beneath the water. They killed many of your followers, but you killed plenty back. Their young were killed, and the ones in the sewers were driven further up the mountain.

Your followers are getting fearful. The legends say that the lost race span across the galaxy, and this was but one planet. You are no god of fighting, but perhaps you could ask Brother Integra for aid?

New souls aren't created per se. There is a near infinte pool of souls, further increased by the death of all the Old Gods. Souls have different aspects and traits, which are mixed and matched whenever they die. The infusion of Old God souls into the population resulted in psychics, similar to magic but different in that it used the users own souls instead of others. Due to the corrputed souls of the Old Gods, many psychics are psychotic and violent, but it can be overcome with training.
I see... Unfortunate...

Tell me if I missed any questions. Hope you guys enjoy this game!

According to the Pact, the creation or destruction of sentient life is prohibited.

Sapient means they can think and feel right? If so, that one.

"Zuul, I shall destroy thy, on mine honor." the god swore after the images appeared, and he gripped his sword.
"The new city is grand. It shall be named Piltover, capital of this land," he said with a nod, lowering himself to the ground as his wings dimmed to a calmer state and set about preparing for war.

1 Cult Action: Integra orders his cult to hunt down and assassinate and spy on any high members of Zuul's cult. Such is the preparation of war--espionage.

1 Action: Integra gestured to the water and began to construct an enormous wood wheel that gained power from the largest and most powerful waterful there is in the mountain, a wheel that would transfer mass amounts of power to Piltover to aid in the war effort. Such is the preparation of war--reserve.

Extra Action: Integra began to construct spheres of stone that would patrol the lands far from Piltover, alerting him and high cult members of any suspicious activity. Such is the preparation of war--vigilance.

((Sorry, no magic. It is an alien thing to the new gods. It could be like technology or something, though. True divine power is dangerous, as it can potentially warp reality, and so does magic on a smaller scale. Psychic power is a more controllable power, as the only danger present is to the psychic himself. Technology is plentiful and relatively safe, but with a limited scope of power.))

((Wait can we just kinda telepathically order our followers around or do you need to be like Zuul and X'os and just kinda live in their followers minds?)) ((So the old gods get magic but the new don't?))

The people let out a shout of joy at the protection you gift them. You further protect them further by fortifying the walls with holy energy, which must be maintained by three clerics that must be on the Wall at all time, else the shield fall.
((Sorry, I'll change my action))

It's ok. My fault for not clarifying all this at once. :p

((Wait can we just kinda telepathically order our followers around or do you need to be like Zuul and X'os and just kinda live in their followers minds?)) ((So the old gods get magic but the new don't?))

((You can kinda speak to your followers if you're close enough, or you can ask X'os or Tern to relay messages for you, like what Integra did with Tern. Yes, the old get magic. They made it. The New Gods did not have magic in their old universe before they were banished.))

I will protect my children i must for it was i who condemned them all those years ago. Inak tries to contact his brother X'os.

((I say try because well i assumed that Inak was not the best at psychic abilities out of all his brothers and sisters. Inak will consider the other old gods his brothers.))

"I haven't been outside that cage in so long..."

Seeing carrion birds feasting on corpses, Zuul is struck with an idea.

Normal Act: Alter birds of carrion so their pecks cause inevitable, blinding rage.

Cult Action: Round up any survivors left in the city, and convert them. If there are no survivors, then
