Let's do the examining part first.
It seems she was first set on fire, then smashed in the head. This smith was quite pale before.
I'm not sure why the burning stopped.

You think the killer might be trying to communicate with us? Well, these engravings are far below what I've seen from our artists. Could anyone even draw a crappier looking Lion?

There's just two equally crappy engravings of the same goat.

Could I borrow the sharp copper thing while you look at the walls?

Examine the corpse.

Do you see that on the walls? LP.. We should be on the lookout for a Likot Peardell.
Do you think the killer is trying to communicate with us?
Maybe.
Well, these engravings are far below what I've seen from our artists. Could anyone even draw a crappier looking Lion?
Maybe there's more on the other wall?

Let her eat.
She's probably starving.
While she's eating, why not attempt to craft something at the forge?

You don't have any metal.

Then tie her leash to the anvil and get some metal.

We should make something in the forge!
Shouldn't we tend to the corpse muliating elf?
Oh, let her eat.
Well, I don't want to make a-.
You know who's going to win this.
We don't even have metal.
Then go fetch some. Tie the elf to the anvil so she can stay and eat.

You know, I feel like if I were at all savvy, I'd not leave a defenceless child tied to anything, between this murder and the empty fort.
Yeah!
