Ties are awesome.
They are indeed, but what does this have to do with the story? A piece of foreshadowing, perhaps?

Oh, yes.

Try to fashion a tie out of cloth.

So now we are adding a tie with our rings and elf leash?

Catten can't really wear a tie, his beard gets in the way.

Silky could wear a tie, but it doesn't really go with her rags.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
I've tried making her wear a suit, but the darker colors obscure her plush.

The question still stands, dear author: why the hell did you mention ties?

Hmm. I can't quite remember. I guess later I'll put a poll up for the reasons behind that line up and see if it produces a conclusive result.

Edit:
Both it is then! XD
One of the rings was to be attached to Silky's portruding head, so doing both isn't possible.

Wait, a tie as in "between two or more options", not "a garment to be tied around the neck"? Jesus Christ am I a fashion victim.

What if we put Silky on a leash and then decorate it with rings?

What if we put the rings on our chest instead, like undeserved medals of some sort?

Voila! Now just put Silky on a leash and we are all set.
