I've been a bit held up with stocking up clothes and stuff, but the update is here now.

Let's deal with the wetness first. Go back to the stockpile and get some new clothes.

No one's about, no suprise.

Just put the old clothes in the bin.
Ooh! There's new boots in here too.

And that's the last one. It's a pity there isn't a matching turban in here.
What if..

"Now, hold still again. Oh, it looks like you managed to stay dry in there."
"Should I wrap your head under it as well so you can warm up?"

"Nno! I-I'm fffine."

None of our clothes have hanging rings or menacing spikes, that is certainly a problem.

There is no way I'm making small cone shaped objects in pixel art. But I can add rings somewhere if you want.

The fact that she might eventually have to go to the.. bathroom, is a bit worrying.

Wear the rings. Grab an empty barrel for elfturban to go to the restroom in, and tie it into the turban.

What is a bathroom? I know of no such thing. I don't think any creature whatsoever would have a need for that contraption. Catten was refering to her being submerged in water a couple of moments ago.

Wear them both!

Maybe we should have a leach or such on her? A rope around her stomach or something, so that she's within range and possibly safety from other dwarves.

edit: Maybe this will encourage a new trend, of having elf pets to walk with every day?

I say we stop giving ourselves potential neck problems and take the poor Silky off.

I really doubt we need to keep Silky on a leash.  I mean, where's she gonna go?

Also, I've been picking up on some hints that there's some sort of problem going on with the fortress, but I can't quite put my finger on it?  I'm at a loss as to what our overall objective is.

Be the only illustrated DF suggestion game that doesn't feature gruesome death, Mr. Martin.

I'm sure you'll stumble upon whatever is happening at some point. I'm not going to railroad you directly to it.

Edit: Currently you're just dealing with biological needs. Eat, sleep, drink, insulation. Mining up to the lake cost time
