She looked up.

She then looked at Runa, giving her a heartfelt smile before nocking an arrow.
It flew off in an arc, following where she thought the javelin came from; she readied her aim and noted down the sound of its impact (as everyone else was fighting, the tone of how an arrow strikes either stone or metal is quite distinct), "Armored foe across this wall. There's another room past this!"

Daethwin liked crowds. Usually. But they also made it hard for people to hear him play his music...giving up and just standing at the edge of the throng of warriors, she sighed.

"Doesn't anyone appreciate a good tune anymore?"

Glancing slyly at Noel, a mischievous look took root before being covered by a mask of 'propriety'.

"You like music, don't you? I don't think I ever caught your name. It's not fair, that. You having something of mine and I haven't gotten anything in return."

The bard smiled, a cute, charming one that, for most people, was impossible to resist smiling back at. Tugging at the dark mage's arm, she sang as she nudged him back into action. It didn't have words, more of a rolling melody, and it was a cheerful, uplifting song, full of blatant, unrestrained optimism in the face of danger and uncertainty, almost...defiant. As if the chords were daring the world to try and break the singer's good mood, and knew it would fail.
