Violet gasped in pain as the heavy axe blade cut her. She could hear fighting in the distance, but at the moment she was all alone. Her face was pale, both from pain and nausea, but she felt her grip tighten around the hilt of her sword.
Not like this, she thought. I refuse to die like this. Not before I experience more of what the world has to offer!

Josephine watched her arrow miss her target, all due to the man who healed her stepping in. Or probably the hand axe that came flying through the window and missing her by a breadth of a hair.

With lack of much to say, she awaited what was to happen, though another arrow was already in place as she looked on.
She didn't miss her targets a lot, and her target in this case being the man's heart.

His appendages were not on her list of merciful areas to hit.
