The archer was quite the chatterbox. Violet could barely keep up with her!

: "He certainly is cheery, and very enthusiastic. Perhaps a little too much so...I wish I had not hurt him, but I am uncomfortable when people grab--"
: "Eh?!" It was at this point that Josephine grabbed her hand again. Was this...was this considered normal behavior amongst commoners? She knew that people shook hands, but that was a more mutual greeting than...this. With a bit of effort, she took her hand back before she could feel much of Sandra's face.
: "EXCUSE me, but I would appreciate it if you would please stop doing that. It is very rude...and more than a little frightening." she said, a little hotly. Then she calmed down and smiled in what she hoped was an apologetic manner.
"I'm sorry. Sandra, was it not? Pleased to meet you."

Noel raised an eyebrow.

"Cuteface? ... ... ...Well, I can't say you're wrong about that..."

"As for the other, well, I suppose that's up to Daethwin."

Noel turned to the bard.

"...This, eh, little fact about me Kosko guessed... it doesn't bother you, does it?"

By the time the dark mage was looking at the bard, he had gone into full blush; his entire face was bright red, and his demeanor seemed strangely shy.

"N-n-n-n-n-n-not at-at all..."

Daethwin stood up suddenly, face still burning.

"I've g-got to-to go, uh, go, uh, tune my i-instruments. Y-yeah."

He fled the room without waiting for a reply, stopping just outside for a moment to catch his breath, practically gasping for air. What the hell is happening? Why am I acting like this?

[SeriousConcentrate]

Noel blinked, then folded his hands on the table and sighed.

"I was hoping to get to know him a bit more before the idea was put out there, Kosko. I wouldn't be surprised if he avoided me for the rest of the journey..."

"I suppose done is done; nothing for it now."

[Haspen]

Kosko thought for a moment.

"What idea do you have on mind?"

[SeriousConcentrate]

Noel scoffed for a second.

"The whole 'wooing' idea, of course."

[Haspen]

"Oh! Your intentions were transparent, though, so I felt like sharing my observations with Cutehair Bard. He seems to be rather shy."

"Not to mention I thought you would sooner sacrifice him to some of your dark gods rather than woo him!"

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Daethwin, shy? I wouldn't think so normally... but he did seem a little nervous."

Noel shrugged.

"And I don't have dark 'Gods'. I don't know WHAT you're on about with that."

He clearly wasn't going to say anything more on that matter.

[Tiruin]

Josephine took back her hands and excused herself.

"I'm...sorry Violet."

She then moved out of the inn to wander about. Like the nearby well. That was a nice place to go to.
And maybe drown in.

[Haspen]

"Dark mages worship dark gods just like light mages worship light gods, it's almost always the case."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"I follow no God."

Technically speaking, this was a completely true and factual statement.

"Anyway, I know better than to get into a theological debate with a fanatic..."

[Haspen]

"Good for you." Without waiting for reply, Kosko moved out of the inn.

"Cuteface bard! I was wondering if you didn't run away somewhere."

"Can we talk?"

"Before you decide to run away further away from the inn!"

[SeriousConcentrate]

Noel sighed again, pinching the bridge of his nose for a few moments, before settling in to finish off his breakfast. There was no use letting it go to waste.

[Sirus]

As Josephine got up, Violet reached out and tugged on the archer's sleeve.
: "Please, don't leave. I didn't mean to get so angry, and I apologize."

[Tiruin]

Josephine was more shocked that Violet knew where to tug...in terms of she knew she was leaving--the chair made little noise.
She had acute hearing, or in the least detected it by her..tone.
Commoner...
"I-m..mm-"
Noble.
She sat down and looked from Sandra to Violet. Embarrassing in their introduction, nice work peasant.
Peasant...
"I'm ok."
Not at all.

She decided to look at her food as intrusive thoughts crept upon her. Commoners. Nobility. Wars. Levies.
In all actuality, it was more the fear of what was to come and how Veros--and likely everyone she knew and cared for--would fare. War was a plague of death onto the land, and more innocents die than those who are guilty. She had been weighing every reaction and conversation thus far, dwelling back as a waking moment onto the rest--thinking on how tension would get onto others.

Sad thing was, she could only think and act upon one thing at a time, and right now she felt very vulnerable.

"I didn't-" want to leave she wanted to lie, but she knew that was unkind and untrue of her,
"-mean to intrude..."

Daethwin jumped slightly at the sound of Kosko's voice. Now he was red for an entirely different reason...

"Uh-ummm, alright, I guess."

"Could you stop calling me that, though? It's...embarrassing."

Since when have I cared about being embarrassed? I'm a bloody Bard, for music's sake! That's practically our job description!
Daethwin mentally told his inner voice to shut the hell up, and turned his attention back to Kosko.

"Er, what did you want to talk about, then?"
