Why, yes. They sent us to the Warmage Academy, where we were trained in the arts of magic, combat and tactics. In that order of magnitude.

Wizard school, where we do wonderful things like levitate cats, read books, play magical sports with our peers, and eat owls.
I would like to support the "pure" magic option. Warmage academy is for people who want to memorable death. I'd prefer a memorable life.

Royal training grounds

Magical potential is good, but I prefer to get strictly military education to raise a commander and a healthy person. Magic can be studied in our spare time and\or when character will get older.

I want him learning unorthodox magic somewhere

War must be, while we defend our lives against a destroyer who would devour all; but I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend.

Who needs a major in military education when we can burn people with our cuteness? Besides tactics is involved with the magic academy.

"Okay kids, today we talk about silver the pyromancer.

Silver was like you in many regards only with magic ability and hard training to develop them. He developed relations with the eleven communities and was given the title of "court mage". He would be known to persuade many more magicians and wizards in the eleven communities. He is also known to hug every person he sees.

Moral of the story, hard work and magic get you nice things. Now get to your DAMN chores."

Since I sense a tie between pure magic and War magic, I'll roll a die to see which one is chosen. ((Roll D6- 4! Warmage school!))

Your Parents, sensing that you could be something strong with your magic, decided to send you to War magic school.
The place was named after the Great Kobold Wizard, Ashlaw Jinglehalls, the Kobold who defeated the Ice dragon with Wind magic.
You can hardly remember the early lessons, as they mainly taught you how to channel the magic into and from your body.

It wasn't until you were 12 were you given special classes. You specialized in War Magic: Using Magic to attack or defend whole armies, one of the strongest Magic used. ((Roll d20 to see how well you did - 17!)) You were one of the top students in that class. Besting the Majority of students, but unable to beat your Teacher.

You also specialized in Actual Combat: A class where you build up your bodies strength and use weapons to fight your foes. ((Roll d20- 13!)) You were adequate at best, but definitely not the worst. You could fight most opponents and outwit them, but the bigger kobolds always had the upper hand.

The final Class you specialized in was Tactics: Moving troops around the battlefield, analyzing the terrain and figuring the best strategy against an enemy. ((Roll d20- 19!)) At the head of the class, you conquered the simulations and even full on battles against all of your opponents. The final opponent, the Main Battle Wizard himself however, bested you in a fight, but only barely. He congratulated you on a good fight and even let you skip a year in the class, allowing you to move ahead into Advanced tactics.

After Graduating, you looked for work. What kind of Job did you find?

Spoiler: Character (click to show/hide)
War Magic: Int +7
Combat: Str +6 and Agi +5
Tactics: Cha +3 and Int +7

We worked for a human baron who gave us odd jobs and every now and again help train human troops. In exchange we had food, room, and interactions with the barons kids ((who liked playing with our ears)).

Also dear God 20 intelligence? That's pretty high by DD rules. I approve.

EDIT: Cha- 8 +1 is our charisma 8 or 9?

War-trained Cutebold? I disapprove. And we didn't even get to eat any owls  :'(

No way. We are the Koballisarius of our age (plus we're pretty good at magic) let's conquer the world! (I know I was against that, but tat was before I knew we were a genius at it)

I agree, these are pretty great rolls. I actually only had the hopes for finding a good call in there somewhere, but this is quite fabulous. I mean, we are a military genius, and one of the best war-mages our race has to offer. Together this is really a monster build.

We joined the military, intent on rising through its ranks
Depending on how well that works, we can carve out a new path for ourself - or even the whole cuteboldian race!

Our aim is to be the greatest Military Leader the Kobold race and the world has ever see. We try the best we can to become a General before 20 years of age.

The Charisma is 9 put together, but 8 standard without the cutebold bonus. So even if you get to 0 Cha, you will actually have 1.

I'll be posting a big update soon-ish, after I finish up some work I got left.
