((Crap, realized I messed up with the color.))
Riko makes a mental note to ask Kayla about the bottle later, he learned his lesson about drinking unidentified obviously magical substances years ago. It was not a fun experience. He then walks to the room with the bath and prepares it, grabbing the clothes he was told he could use before locking the door, stripping, testing the water, and if it's ready, sliding in and relaxing.

The water was plenty warm, hot would be the word to describe it, but theres really no way to tamper with water boiled by coal. You use soaps and rags strewn around the tub to suddy it up so you can just sit and relax while the water washed you. The pain from the previous day starts in your gums again, and you can feel the blood, but neither are as bad this time.

Riko, ignore the pain in his gums, this time actually aware of what is going on and continues bathing, eventually moving to scrub himself and was his hair.

After completely washing you peek up at the window above the bath. Twilight is passing, and it was quickly starting to become night.

Alunk digs out a staircase, leading down from the third floor.

You take your time digging a staircase down. It pitch black darkness, with the exception of some recess lighting from the floor above right in front of the stairs.

Riko gets out and dries off, checking to see if there is a way to empty the tub.

You grab a towel and wrap it around your waste. Theres a little rubber plug keeping the water in, so you pull it so the water can drain.

Riko finishes drying off and puts on the clothes he grabbed before leaving the bathroom and going to his room to wait for Kayla to get back.

Riko investigates the bookshelf.

You peruse the bookshelf, looking for anything interesting. There are several interesting titles, such as "999 Ways to Prepare Vorax Worms," "A Guide to Replacing a Cat's Heart," "The Jewish-Japanese Sex & Cook Book and How to Raise Wolves." But besides that, its mostly books on magic and alchemy.

You start reading the Jewish-Japanese book, but find sadly that its actually a book of fiction, and not actually about sex, cooking, or raising wolves.

Eh, maybe the magic books will be more interesting. Riko goes and puts the wolf/Japanese book back on the shelf and starts reading one of the books about magic.

You start reading the magic books, they detail how magic works, what mana is, how the body makes it, mana deficit can be unhealthy, and how to preform a few spells.
