After a while the smoke thins and the sizzling stop, and the sound of liquid sloshing into cups starts for a second. "Riko? Are you awake? I made breakfast."

Alunk puts pick to rock, digging like a demon.

On your first whack of the stone the stone in front of you collapses, everyone else in the mine scatters to the top, thinking something bad was about to happen. However, quite the opposite! Once a large wall of stone has fallen and the dust has settled, you see that you're standing in the doorway of a hidden chamber, with a chest inside!

Kyle goes about selling the things.

All of your stuff was on the floor in front of it, and inside the chest was the armour Mjölnir was wearing last night, as well as a warhammer.
