Yeah, it'd probably be nice if in the future we could avoid that sort of thing just cause of the confusion it causes? It's alright in this case, but in the future either just have multiple people in a conversation or only have one convo at a time. Just to make things easier.

Well, if it helps, Tir, know these two things about Noel:

1. He's sort of a 'tortured artist' type. He is exceedingly talented, but his focus on his craft makes it difficult for him to relate to others. He also has a bit of a superiority complex as fits a noble of Denoss, where blood means everything.
2. Read his bio, especially the fourth and fifth paragraphs. It's pretty obvious why he hates people and wants to keep himself to himself.

He seems to do okay with Violet, but that might just be because she doesn't pester him much

Violet dresses, speaks, and carries herself like a noblewomen, which helps since he believes she's likely his equal in blood (even though she's not noble). That and while he's a jerk, yeah, he's hardly going to be one to a blind woman. Even he has his limits.
