Bio: The Children of Dusk are a small group living in Angthera. Unlike the rest of their fellow Angtherans, they don't want to conquer and expand, and if it wasn't because their wyvern tamers are among the best of the world, they would have been exterminated by other groups. It is only this talent with wyverns that has make the Kings of Angthera protect the Children of Dusk, as they provide him with wyverns ready to be used as mounts by some of his best soldiers.
The Children are a very strange folk. They have their own faith, which they call the Faith of Dusk, and they preach that everything in the world is a mixture of energies, and that the world must be in balance or else it would be destroyed. That's why both the followers of the Shining God and the followers of the Dark Lady hate them. In their faith, both of these cults are necessary, but if one became too powerful, or dissapeared, it would be a disaster.
They also believe in a cycle of regeneration, and they use the symbol of the Uroboros, the Infinite Serpent that bites itself, as a symbol of their people. Once every few centuries, a child is born among the Children of Dusk that has a birthmark with the symbol of the Uroboros, and it is believed that this child will become important for maintaining balance in the world.
Fenella is one of these few children. She was born blind, and with the mark of the Uroboros on her right hand. Despite her disability, she was able to learn how to use a weapon, an it wasn't long before she showed the wisdom and cunning of someone far older than she was.
Fenella's mother, a priestess of the Faith of Dusk, died while giving birth to her, but in her last words she prophesied that her daughter would eventually have to be the Champion of the Children of Dusk, representing their faith in a conflict that would mark a difference in the world.
As the identity of her father was unknown, Fenellas was raised by all of the Children, and after coming of age, she has decided to travel the world seeking the destiny her mother prophesied.
