Hmmm, so I'm betting that if we ignore the Irat one, their mages get a hand on it and decide to put it to use reclaiming the desert, with entertaining consequences.  If we ignore the Skelos border, that cloud of darkness will continue to grow, with entertaining consequences.  Decisions, decisions. ^_^

Dimitri has Charisma.  Kosko and Sandra have Daunt, which will also help when stacked on top of Charisma, though they don't stack with each other.  Right, first things first, we need a front line to get our casters behind.  The cliff to the west might serve as a convenient anchor, but those forests may also conceal ranged attackers.

You saying handling superior numbers of level 13 enemies at equivalent-level 9 is hard?  Sure, they're a little durable, but we can probably make it if we're careful, check their stats, and don't go haring off.

Oh, I don't recall people saying the last chapter was easy, either, though I wasn't in IRC.  If anything, we ran into a few issues when we bogged down right after crossing the river.

Have you seen their equipment? Unique weapons, Killer weapons, effective weapons up the wazoo. And we've got a bunch of iron stuff :P

Yep, I did.  Most dangerous thing I see is the Killer stuff.  Most of the special weapons seem to be specific character-hate, which means we can shuffle our forces to keep other players between them and their targets.  I haven't done the maths, though.
