The only time I will condone eating someone is if we absolutely need to for self defense.
I did say that it should be kept for situations like self defence against clearly... evil, for lack of a better term... threats.
Exactly, or as a last resort.
Just because we may end up having to kill someone, doesn't mean we have to eat said person.
Smile, then ask if he can talk.

It seems I was right about him not knowing of us. This is good, but we should be careful not to let anything slip.
Smile at him!
And now, it's time for someone that can have good ideas.
+1 Also ask a lot of questions, in a bubbly manner, and don't give him time to answers.

We should try not to annoy him though.

"Can you talk?" He nods.

"Do you want to?" He shakes his head.

"Why not?" He sighs and makes a shrug.

You see the light of the guard's torch down the street. So does the man. He looks over at you and makes a "hurry it up" gesture.

Ask him if he wants to stay at your dorm for a bit.

As much as I'm for this, I don't see it turning out well. Oh well, let's try anyways. Tell him to hide somewhere safe.

This guy is our new antisocial deer friend, everything will turn out fine.

What could possibly go wrong?

He's not a murderer, he's a potential murderer, and we should trust him. Because he seems like a misjudged extremely socially awkward deerman.

What's life without a little excitement? Who knows what could happen, I mean we already made a positive acquaintanceship with him, mine as well take it a step further and invite him to our house.

I feel like this person would make a viable friend, help us in the dimensions of this place that aren't so clear.
