Your Iron Blizzard is fucking annoying and I don't know how to deal with it other than drawing my pretender into those battles.
No matter, this isn't going badly yet.

When only tool you have is Iron Blizzard, everything starts to look like uh... magical creature. And i'm starting to suspect my vampire counts were lobotomized before revival.

Eh, to be fair each casting of Iron Blizzard is like the fire from an archer squad or two. Probably not the best use of resources, but still rather effective and damaging.

you could attack with a scout or something that can retreat fast enough. Then you have a relative good view of what awaits you.

You're really overestimating my abilities here. If i had something like that i'd probably use it before you broke the walls heh. Also i probably should have started moving my researcher hordes into the fight earlier...

I wasn't sure if you didn't have a ~100 units holed up there. Towers, magic and a chokepoint can beat several times bigger armies.

Damn, my best attempt got completely destroyed.  Oh man, I don't know what I am doing.  Oh well, setting myself to be computer controlled, there is no way I can win at this point.

Unless I'm mistaken, he's literally down to a province full of birds and a couple dudes hundling in his capital. Not the best of the best you have to admit.

Then here's what he does:

1. Start his turn
2. gather EVERYTHING he has left
3. Play "Don't Stop Believing" in the background
4. Die standing!

I believe that's what he did last turn. Still working on part 4 though.

yeah that's exactly what I did.  I got all my troops together and did a glorious charge, then got my ass handed to me.  It was pretty embarrassing.
