So, let's choose the map.
We have no under-water nation, and 8 players.

Anybody have any idea ?

I really like Pymous' maps, but Biddyn seems nearly small (10 province per player) and Peliwyr too big for 8 players (15 provinces per players). Out of those 2, Biddyn may be the best for us.

Which doesn't mean we shouldn't have any water.
Jomon has some very good underwater troops which it needs to take advantage off.

Just saying that the number of UW provinces isn't a primary criteria of choice.
And actually, both the maps I mentionned have UW provinces ;)

I'm actually partial to Valanis.

Though I also like Dawn of Dominions Map. I could modify it If you all want.

They're pretty big :/
132 and 142 land provinces means more than 15 per nation...

Blah, put me down for Midgard, I guess. Playing an nation with actual air magic shall be fun.

Also, the reason that I like Agathra's alchemists is due to their magic paths, and not their alchemy bonus.

Valanis and Pelywyr look nice but out of the two i'd prefer Valanis. And yeah size is a bit of an issue here but there's not many maps to choose from for our number.
Maybe we can try to get one more player ?

I played one full game as those undead guys with the dominion that destroys everything (Ermor or Lemuria or whatever, don't remember which one) and I played around with the TC horse archer guys.  Both of those were against AI.
