Tayeth stares at her hammer and frowns.

"It... Speaks sometimes. It told me I could bring back my dad... Helped teach me about necromancy... But it won't talk to me anymore. I think it might be mad at me."

((I guess since Lukas gets spells from tomes, Tayeth gets spells from murder? Thought it would be slightly funny and explain the ridiculous size of the hammer.))

((Edit: Plus, it adds a bit of randomness to when Tayeth learns spells, since it will be entirely up to the GM to decide when the hammer speaks.))

"You are aware how creepy that sounds, right?"

Vlad pulls out his Cube. It has turned navy blue.

It doesn't make any sense! Why is it blue? Why now?

[Lyeos]

"No, what are you talking about?"

"And what are you looking at?"

Vlad holds up the Cube. It is a small navy blue ice cube. On the bottom, someone has engraved the following.

"All will melt. The mortals, the gods, even the universe itself. All will melt."

[Lyeos]

"What does it do? And why hasn't it melted? It's not exactly cold by local standards."

[Playergamer]

"Nevermelt Ice. Children in the wastes are attuned to their Cube shortly after birth. It melts when the attuned dies. Green means alive, red means dying. Once a cube turns red, there's nothing that can be done. As for blue... I don't know what blue means. Danger, maybe?"

[Lyeos]

"Maybe it means you're in love! It's Ril, isn't it?"

Despite teasing Vlad, Tayeth still starts looking around nervously.

[Playergamer]

"I'm not in love with Ril. I can only barely stand the guy."

Stealthily look for enemies in the trees.

[Lyeos]

"Lukas, then?"

Lukas is actually the most likely source of danger...

[Playergamer]

"Nope."

"Maybe it really does mean we're in danger, then."

Tayeth sits next to the remains of last night's fire.

"Yeah."

Phew. That was close.
