D'sparil had spent the night working on another golem. A huge stone minotaur with a rock hammer, he bit on his finger until it began leaking the thick blackish blood of the stoneborn. A swift sign on a piece of paper went underneath the tongue of the golem, and and whisper of magic completed the net of mana wrapped around it. The golem would protect this town.

That done, he mounted the dragon, and lifted the lance high. His helmet was set on his head, his guantlets pulled over his fists. Steeled stone sat ready for battle.

Vlad pulled down the cowl of his cloak, heading for the town hall. It didn't quite accomplish it's purpose, being urban camouflage, but he was used to it. He entered the town hall, and quickly found two men sitting in a makeshift war room. He quietly took a seat, and looked at the map.

"So... whatcha got for me?"

Try to get information on the coming battle. Troop numbers, flank composition, terrain, commanders, the like.

Well damn. Once again, Tayeth had been left on her own when things were about to get fun. She grabbed her hammer off of the broken bed, then made her way to the center of town, her Destrachan in front of her and the Vampiric Mists to either side... And she waited.

Dammit, Vlad!

Tayeth begins preparing a fireball, intending to hold onto it until she can lob it into a group of whatever is coming.

((Roll to fireball, but... When things get there, I guess?))

They have the uphill advantage, they number in the hundreds, Not many of their troops are in a flanking position. The terrain is a rather large hilltop. We dont think there are any commanders. Just the half-fiends leading each squad of goblins.

You prepare your fireball and hold it in your hand. But in your haste it is more unstable than you would like it to be. An explosion will be caused by this ball of heat you just know it.

Tayeth continues to wait, only slightly annoyed that her friends abandoned her to save their own skins. At least, that's how she sees it.

Vlad grills the commanders for more information, and, knowing Tayeth, tells them to duck the coming explosion.

We have a commander who survived the old Roteskan wars. He isnt physically fit but he has good tactics. We have nearly 100 soldiers and 600 villagers volunteering to jump into the fray.

Actually, this is dangerous, even for me.

Tayeth shoots her fireball into the sky, and sends up a small prayer that it will fall on whatever is out there.
