Seeing as no one took up on his offer to be his partner in crime, Janus wanders off to find some sage to fence the notes to.

Dany happen to be coming with Janus after getting... you guess it...another apple.

There was a spellbook maker, an alchemist, and a Razajab mystic in the town. There was no more magical facilities there, except of course several churches devoted to the Cult of Sacril or its Lunarian sect.

"Very well. We'll be selling our entire cargo if you please. And we'll buy the following:
Iron (10), Lilac Oil (5), Orange Oil (5), Beads(5), Leather(8.), Oats(30), Olives(20)

[Haspen]

@Dustinori:

The market keeper nodded in agreement and the transaction was done.

Dustine nodded to the man and commented,

"We might be back later if we decide that we're interested in some more goods."

Turning to Esori, she grinned at him.

"While we're here in the market, why don't we go looking for equipment for our group, what do you say?"

Dustine goes to the market to look for equipment

Janus turns to Dany
"Let's try the mystic first. If we're lucky we can fence these notes for some extra pay."

Janus prepares to head over to the mystic, waiting only to see if Dany has any objections.

"I can't see why they would be interested in the notes, but sure, it's worth a try."

Dany shrugged, following Janus.

@Dustine:

The market, besides miscellanous peddlers, fishmongers and farmers trying to sell their produce, had several shops as well; a fletcher, a crossbow-maker, a weaponsmith, another weaponsmith dedicated to polearms and axes, and a small apothecary.

@Danyus:

The Razajab mystic wore flamboyant orange robes and big blue turban adorned with gold thread and bells. He was sitting in the middle of his room, surrounded by jars, incense, scrolls and books of mysterious knowledge.

"How can I help?" The man asked in suprisingly good and smooth language of Etherean continent.

@Danyus:

"How can I help?" The man asked in suprisingly good and smooth language of Etherean continent.

"Greetings. My associate here and I came across some information you may be interested in. We had a run-in with a group of pirates that appeared to have been cursed by a strange amulet. Unfortunately, the mage hired by our employer used her influence with him to have it destroyed, but I managed to secure the journal of the pirates' captain, though I was forced to transcribe it and dispose of the original because it was 'tainted'. I would be willing to sell these notes to you at a quite reasonable price, should you be interested."

[Haspen]

@Danyus:

"Hrrmmmph. Are there notes on matters arcane or ethereal? Schematics and mystical incantations?" The mystic asked in soothing, slow voice, stroking his goatee.

[Swordstar]

Dustine tapped her chin thoughtfully before heading first into the polearm and axe shop.

[Haspen]

@Dustine:

The grumpy, old weaponsmith shown her his wares.

Dany, who was gazing at the mystic's assortment of curios like a child, suddenly turned to face them.

"That's the problem. We only have the account of the victims, not the caster."

"Why don't you take a look at the notes, see what they're worth to you?"
