"Well uh... if you all w-want too..." Selina is unsure of this course of action, but trusts Ayleen.

Dustine frowned and shook her head.

"It's probably best to stick with the job. If he doesn't pay us, that's a different story, but we agreed to do this job without touching his mine. To do otherwise would be a breach of contract, which could spread and cause us some unpleasantness in the future. Better to not risk that. Not when we depend on trade and people's willingness to treat us fairly."

"...That's what I was saying but in concise and clear terms. I should work on this language more."

She looked at the forest beyond.

"Is it just me or do I notice the spiders attack by jumping and lunging more? We can use the trees to our advantage if we stick to the forest, and the spaces are wide enough to accommodate archers and other projectiles easily like in the open! That said, the webbing in the canopies make for a nice reflection off the light. Goodness knows how invisible it is during the night. And rain. Dear goodness the rain."
Ayleen wiped the last of the rain droplets off her face.

"Actually, I don't mind the rain one bit! Rain clouds are actually really pretty if you see them from above."

~~Enemies Turn!~~

Esori could easily see how the big, black-and-red crested spider raised it's appendages and clicked a bit; it's guardians quickly moved into the trees.

~~Player Turn 6~~

Ayleen to 12,8; Heal Staff @Esori.

Too many leaves. Too many fallen leaves.
*crunch crunch crack crunch*
Hey, there's Esori an-is that a wound? Minor cut to the anterior carpal region. Mm. Smooth hands...
*poke!*

Ayleen blinked as she saw her staff prod Esori's hand.

"Oh-hi Esori! I thought you were-" you were what?! I wasn't supposed to say "-a tree!" Fish. "...Do you hear chittering?"

"I'm- sorry, what? You thought I was a tree? Look, nevermind. I can see more of them from here, they're taking up position amongst the actual trees." Esori moves to (15,7).
