We clearly have two different ideas on how your powers work.

I'm thinking of any sand you collect, by sleeping on it, as additional body mass. This additional mass can be shed to initiate sleep effects or other manipulations, sandblasts, shields etc... Splitting your body into smaller copies would cause you to eventually lose all of that sand. You'd have a turn at most to manipulate the copies before concentration breaks and they fall to pieces and you have to collect all that sand again. If you wanted to really spread yourself out, down to individual grains you would be stuck as an individual grain of sand, recovery from which would take a significant amount of time.

After thinking about it, how much do you want to scatter, how much had you collected?
Lets say that 98 pounds of sand is equivalent to your normal power level and at that level, you do two to four sleep attacks, four for single two for spread, before requiring rest.

The reasons i've been so leery about the motorcycle and jetpack is 1) I like to reserve flight for later game powers and 2) you are already highly mobile, a motorcycle would most likely slow you down.

Sound good I guess. After my spread attack how much mass do I have left?

I meant how many one-foot me's can I create with my current bodymass?

Strike the magician to knock him over, and follow up with a smash from my tail.

Ask the captain if we have any skilled warriors in the dungeons.

Give a respectful, but brief bow to Athri.
"It is an untold honor to speak with you, milady. However, I am not greatly trained in the way of the blade, and my magic is paltry, especially compared to your undoubtedly vast wealth of skill. May I leave this battle, so that I may better serve you when the time for battle comes yet again?"

Ask around for a way to help
A day in the future. Athri's assault has caused a mass exodus from Romekshome, filling Romekston with refugees. The mines are growing faster than ever and a need for guards has arisen.

Not many alone and disengaged.  Without Athri's explosions going off, the roar of the battle seems almost calm. The combatants are fighting furiously.

(6)You successfully evade the archers. Some of your copies exploding into sleepsand and covering the archers, some of Athri's soldiers get hit as well, but the benefit to Athri's forces is undeniable.
Strike the magician to knock him over, and follow up with a smash from my tail.
(2) He's much faster than your rocky form can follow. Your strike is avoided easily. He wips out a small knife, seemingly the only weapon on his person, you see in his other hand an orb which rapidly shifts colors.
Ask the captain if we have any skilled warriors in the dungeons.
He laughs for a moment, till he sees that Georgia is serious. "Yes we do, and no I won't let him out. That beast is closer to an ally to her than he is a usable asset to us.
Give a respectful, but brief bow to Athri.

She smiles, or at least Jonathyn can't help but think she does, her mutations have left her body a mess of ethereal bodyparts that shift in and out of reality. "Why child, no need to be so formal." she turns at the sound of Berd's battle ceasing. It seems that he escaped. She waves her hand at the woman and her sword plunges into her gut. "But I do need something that it seems that you can provide. You wouldn't mind helping your goddess a little longer would you?"

The best you can do right now is jump high. I consider flight to be something that needs to be gained. It'll be easiest for you and froggy ninja, but its a power i'm denying for now.
